The Art of Adaptation: Unveiling the Wisdom of The Bat and The Weasels “It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.” — Aesop In the world of fables, we often find animals acting out the deepest parts of our humanity. These creatures, symbols of instinct and survival, carry lessons older than time itself. The Bat and The Weasels , retold from the mind of Aesop and reimagined through the lens of Gye-Nyame Journey, isn’t just a tale for children—it’s a guide for those grown folks who still seek mastery. When the World Has You Cornered Here’s the setup: A bat falls to the ground and is caught by a weasel. The weasel hates birds. So the bat, slick with the tongue, says, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse.” The weasel lets him go. Later, the same bat falls again. This time, a different weasel catches him. But this weasel hates mice. So what does the bat say? “I’m not a mouse—I’m a bird.” And he gets set free again. Now, you could say the bat was being dishonest. But hold on. Let’s go de...

Daily Toast- Nia 33171 (PURPOSEFUL SUFFERING AKA CONSCIOUS SUFFERING)

"Say the Knowledge holders, true home is the place from which the sun breaks" Fam, it has been a busy 48 hours, as you can see I had to work over time to get you this video, and I am still running behind. I have started to focus all my post for 7 days on a proverb or story, and up above is the proverb of this week.  Dealing with suffering consciously, denying ourselves for the greater good, and moving toward freedom requires us to suffer. All suffering is not bad, when we are able to suffer for those things and people that matter, we transform that pain into something divine. We have problems with suffering because many of us have forgot where home is. Home is not our bodies, not the houses or apartments that we reside in. Home is beyond this plane of existence. We are here for a time, and we have a mission to complete. This requires us to suffer from time to time. Always being able to reflect back on our Nia will help you/us pull through. Checkout the video and let me k...

"That Death Eating Ambrosia"

Image
As I sit here writing this post I am listening to Miles Davis, and to get some inspiration to write this post,  I picked up "African Openings To The Tree Of life" by Erskine Peters. When that didn't work I thumbed through my Aesop Fables, and now I am able to push through and complete this project. You are probably wondering what does all of those things that I mentioned have to do with the "Death Eater Ambrosia"? Actually everything, all of the individuals I mentioned up above left something very important and that thing is a legacy. I being a NationBuilder, and also being on and in the Journey realize the importance of legacy . It is the mark that we leave to let others know that we were here, and hat we accomplished something in the game of life. Helping others is why I created "That Ambrosia", Legacy is why I write and do my podcast. I am striving to leave a mark. I want my children to be able to look back and know that I left them and their childr...
