The Locked Door with No Key: Why Ohio’s SB 153 Threatens Our Voting Rights Imagine being told you must enter a building to access your rights—to speak, to be counted, to shape the laws that govern your life. The door is locked, and you're told you need a key. But no one will tell you what kind of key you need. Some folks bring house keys. Sharing knowledge is not about the quantity of information given, but how that information is received and used. We should always strive to learn something new or different when we can. It is a great disservice to yourself to assume that you know everything there is to know, and this can be seen in your attitudes towards those who may seem different from you. If you refuse to learn from the fool what not to do, or from the wise man how something is supposed to be done, then you are without a doubt a fool yourself. If you assume that there is nothing you can learn from someone or some situation, then you will only hinder your own growth. You will be ignorant of what has been shared with you, and also shut yourself off from learning anything new about yourself or about your community as a whole. The Gina Gee Project- Graduation & Tea Bags

Peace FAM: Ms. Gina Gee is at it again. Today she is celebrating the fact that she got to walk across the stage. Last year she missed her graduation, and some of her supporters at the school made sure she got to walk with the graduating kindergarten class this year. One of the reasons I like her doing this project is that she is motivated to do better in every aspect of her life. She is sharing her self, and her personal growth with the world. I know many adults may not agree with this, but unfortunately Gina chose me as her father, and since I believe that it takes a village to not only raise a child, but to move a child to greatness, I will allow her to continue exposing herself to her village. Since we are in the digital age her village is also digital, so welcome. Gina and Shasha also video taped themselves helping me make "That Ambroisa", by getting the tea bags ready, and you get to see Ms. Shasha in her fullness. IGNORANCE

What happened to the desire to learn? Where has it gone in our youth, and most of our adults? I have the pleasure of talking to youth and adults on daily basis, and appears that a majority of them have know desire to receive new information. could it be that all the media has made people feel that they have no need to learn. All they have to do is look something up on their smart phone. I would be satisfied if I witnessed this going on more but I don't. Now I must state this is simply my observation and i am sharing it because I am looking for someone out there that can encourage me by stating that they are around a majority of friends, family, a students that are out in the world trying to learn and share new information. I am seriously wondering if we have spent so much time boosting self esteem that we have some how killed the curiosity.
