Image
Peace FAM: Great Nia, right now I am actually in Kuumba just making sure that my readers get access to my video. I had to start blogging a day behind because it was taking a toil on me. Daily Toast- Kuumba 56171 "The Impossible Dream- Gye-Nyame Complex" UPDATE

Image
Peace FAM: Had to post rapidly and had no time to type a short intro, as I usually do. I had to take a trip to my birth place with my mother to receive her star on the South Ranger's Walk of Fame. After completing the journey I came home and went to sleep. I hope that you had the opportunity to check the video, and got the core of the message. I am not just talking about buying some property for making money. I am talking about purchasing property to grow a culture. Culture is like a plant, in that it requires soil to sprout. Our culture has been forced into a position of exisiting like wild plants. Wild plants pop up where they can, and if they pop up in someone elses yard, or garden (culture) they are immediately poisened or pulled up. This is why we need to purchase the land for our culture to sprout up, and grow strong. In that way we can cultivate it and increase the qualities that we need and get rid of the qualities that are undesirable. I believe that communities

Daily Toast- Nia 55171 "The Tao Of Ignorance"

Image
Peace FAM: Great Nia, and welcome to GNJ. I was excited about this video, it came together in a dream. I began to question the idea of ignorance, and the role it plays in the life of my people. After reflecting I began to notice the role it plays in my own personal development. I have been held back because of my ignorance, or my ability to ignore. As a people we have been well trained in the art of ignoring. Ignorance when I think about it is an art, and has been perfected by certain segments of our family. Checkout the video, join the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge , and be on the lookout for GNJ's 21 week warrior training click the link to stay in the loop.

Daily Toast- Ujamaa 54171 "Unproductive Behaviors"

Image
Peace FAM: SelfMastery is about constantly looking at ourselves, and evaluating what we need , and what we need to change. This is a constant struggle, and it can be painful, but as our ancestor Amos Wilson taught us "It is a child that fears pain". So today I decided to look at the idea of unproductive behaviors. Do you have any?

Daily Toast- Kujichagulia 52171 "The Hood Trap"

Image
Peace FAM: Today we toast the mighty principle of Kujichagulia. So lift your glass and let's call our ancestors home to stand by our side, in this battle for our Culture and eventually our nation. Unfortunately we have no homes to call them to, because many of us are inhabitants of a danger zone called the "hood". Many of us take pride in our ability to exist in miserable conditions, and we have narrowed the Black experience down to hoodism. The ability to define is the power that separates us from the beast of the field, but since we have not snatched this power back from those that would use toward our demise we exist in a unhealthy state. Man through time has been able to rise above his environment, and shape it to his liking. Unfortunately we missed this in our study of culture. We have allowed our enemies to define us and we have let our environment shape. Leaving us with the cancerous idea of the hood. Men through the shaping of environment form villages and comm

Daily Toast- Umoja 51171 "No indepence without interdependence"

Daily Toast- Nia 428171 "African Red Palm Oil"

Image
Peace FAM: I must apologize for the late post. Yesterday I fell ill suddenly why I was completing my video and in the process of uploading. The pressure behind my left ear was horrible, and I took the rest of the day to rest. Now i know those that have been watching and reading are like "Brother, how can you fall sick with all of "That Ambrosia" and with you taking those supplements?" The answer is complicated, and I am still looking into it, but I have narrowed it down to some possibilities that I feel that it is important to share with those that will be taking the 21 Day Nguzo Saba challenge. On Ujamaa evening at about 5pm I indulged on a mud pie, and a strawberry pie, that was presented to the staff as a gift. I had two healthy pieces, and at the time it was good. Now for those that are doing the challenge beware of over doing your meals if you are attempting the "Warrior Diet", I figured since I had kept my diet, then the pies would not hurt me. I

Daily Toast- Kujichagulia 425171 "Drama cont."

Image
Peace FAM: Once again I am able to stand above the ground  and greet you on this marvelous Kujichagulia. Today we toast our ancestors and continue our talk about drama. Drama in it's self is not a problem, but over dramatazation is the issue. We can not allow anyone to hijack our attention or power, and over drama does that perfectly. It is the tool of the enemy, so watch out. Keep your mind and staymoving toward your goal. We also will begin looking at some herbs and different food you may interested to adding to your personal regiment. Right now, I am working with black seed oil, palm oil, and coconut oil, and of course "That Ambrosia", I will begin talking about these products more and let you know about my personal results. Checkout the video and sign up to get extra content @ Gye-Nyame Journey  and don't forget to take the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge .

Daily Toast- Umoja 424171 "Drama"

Image
Peace FAM: I hope this day finds you standing in Peace, Power, & Joy, our true natural state. Unfortunately we are bombarded with anti-virtues that strives to pull us from this natural state into a spiral that often ends in a wreck. One of these your anti-virtues that i will focus on today is "drama". Drama is an inescapable part of life, but the issue is when it is magnified, stressed upon by others, and then thrust into your existence. FAM the truth of the matter is that you do not have to buy into others over dramatization of life events. Actually it will benefit you greatly if you did not. We are surrounded by these over dramatic episodes today in ways that our ancestors never were. We are bombraded with news, timelines, comments, phone calls, tweets, photos, and etc., that strive to keep us involved and a part of needless drama. This need is driven by a lack of attention, and a lack of purpose. the drama springs up and begin to eat at the unity of the group, and eve

Daily Toast- Imani 423171 "Comfort is the enemy"

Image
Peace FAM: Today we toast this powerful day of Imani, and I share many of the experiments that I am working on. We sample different types of "That Ambrosia", I also share some oils that you may want to incorporate into your life, and discuss some of the properties that they may bring into your life. Most importantly we discuss how our belief in the comforts of life's may be the biggest hindrance. Our comforts may be our biggest enemy, that is holding us back from achieving our greatness. I jump into a cold tub of water to make this point. Tune in and check it out, our and let me know what you think. remember to check us out and sign up on our website for some exclusive content @ Gye-Nyame Journey . Daily Toast- Kuumba 422171

Image
Peace FAM: It is a brew day, and I am far behind. I was supposed to bottle up the ambrosia last night, but I was tired and went to bed. Now I am moving slow, and trying to do the best I kind with this shifting weather. my SCOBYs are holding up but being horribly slowed down by the huge jumps in temperature. I got them bottled up, and know to post up the video and get it to you. I am slowly moving toward the point of making my first shipments outside of Columbus, and I am excited. Today we toasted this marvelous day of Kuumba, and I was able to talk a little bit more about the process of making the kombucha/jun. We also talked about the danger of misdiagnosing our emotional states. When we misdiagnose we get the wrong solution, which means we apply force in the wrong direction. This causes us to fall deeper into the whole of oppression, and moves us into a depressed state. These types of states drain our power, and moves us toward surrendering. It is important that we create situati

Daily Toast - 418171 Kujichagulia "Obstacles"

Image
Peace FAM: Today I am feeling under the weather, but in these times this is when I must push on. I understand that because I have chosen to change, obstacles will appear. I have changed my diet, I have changed my sleep pattern, I have changed my video making schedule, I have changed my exercise regiment, I have increased my chores, and I have increased my use of the axe' breath. With all these addition (changes) of course obstacles will pop up. I push on so that those who take the 21 Day Nguzo Saba , are part of the Tribe , or even those that drink "That Ambrosia" . Can see that we push on, as warriors. We will get sick, we will get talked about, we will be hated and hindered but we move on. We learn to change our perception and see this obstacles as steps to our greatness. Checkout the video and let me know what you think.

Daily Toast- Umoja 417171 Sex

Image
Peace FAM: We will look at sex today, and discuss how it can become a point of contention, as well as a powerful tool to move you toward your goal. When seeking SelfMastery, as well as Nationbuilding all aspects of our lives need to help us move toward our goals. Especially those that are necessities, like eating, and sex. It is incredible to me that people will move toward change and leave the same old attitudes about sex in place. Sex is one of the most powerful things that we do in our life time. We literally create life during this act, but we neglect it when it comes to changing our lives. You can create the best life in the bedroom, as well as erect your own private hell. We have to be wise enough to use all of the tools we have been given on our journey to greatness. To overlook the major necessities of life is like trying to build a house with no hammer. Check the video and let me know what you think: Nuff Said Peace, Power, Joy and 1hunidyears

Daily Toast- Ujamaa 413171 (5-6-7 a new way of seeing the world)

Image
Peace FAM: It is time for us to begin looking at the world with new eyes. Understanding GNJ's 567 system and applying it to your life will change the world for you. We are suffering because we have been miseducated about ourselves. We are taught about all the limits, and thrust into a world not of our or our ancestors making. As African people we have existed on the periphery of this world long enough, and it is time for us to grab the cover of our culture. Culture is the soul of a people, and a people without soul are zombies. Walking the earth soulless doing the bidding of their masters. The recent addition of zombies eating brains, and as brainless consumers is recent to the zombie lore. The original concept of a zombie was someone that was put up under a curse and was forced to serve. Although the brainless consumer was a great addition. We are caught in the zombie zone, serving others with no benefit to ourselves, but it is now time for us to change this paradigm. Today is t

Daily Toast- Ujima 412171 Lack Of Rightousness

Image
Peace FAM: Today during Ujima we need to look at the principle of Righteousness . Righteousness is the quality of being morally right or justifiable. Now let's look at this principle from our cultural lense, and take it out the realm of universal morality. This whole universal movement does not benefit us because the Universe in which it takes place is not ours. It is important that we begin to shift our sight to look at all of our principles, and really everything else from our cultural lense. This is important because it helps create a new frame or story that we exist in. At this moment FAM you are immersed in a Universe that is not your own. This limits your power and makes you a servant to the whom ever universe you are in. As a people, but first as individuals we have to change our vibration  to fit into our Universe. The Universe that our ancestors created for themselves, as well as for their children. Until we do this we will forever get Righteousness twisted. At this point

Daliy Toast- Kujichagulia 411171 "The game is not fair because we are not playing"

Image
Peace FAM In my book "The Player's Pyramid" I describe life as a game, and state that those that know the rules win the game. Today I want to go a little deeper, FAM  the game appears to be unfair to us because we are not playing. It appears that we are not even attempting to compete. By us surrendering to our competition we are throwing the whole universe out of balance. We are required to put up the best fight we possible can, and trust our ancestors. We have to begin to compete, and begin to make other groups feel uncomfortable around us. The game we are born into requires us to act as a group, and get rid of this universal man concept, we have a role and when we don't play that role we expose our future generations to servitude. Now I want to clarify the role, as Black people in America we are a group that has economic, business, political, social, educational, and warfare responsibilities. We have to begin to train ourselves and our children to compete. Many gro

Daily Toast- Umoja 410171 (confusing being scared with being mad is stopping Unity in our communiity)

Image
Peace, Power, and Joy FAM Umoja has swooped in upon me like a hawk, and snatched me up before I was ready. Now I am playing catch up, but I am grateful for another opportunity to greet you on this Great day. It is incredible what new information can do for you. It is like having a blind spot your whole life and someone comes around with a cure, and all of the sudden you can see of the world. I feel that another blind spot has been cleared up for me after  this weekends WHB workshop. I received information this weekend that has changed my view of the world, and if I put it to work it will change the world I'm in. Confusion is a powerful force, that cause us to mislabel and misplace things. In our confusion about our emotions we have mislabeled scared, and misplaced it in the wrong emotions group. This has caused so much confusion for me. For years I thought I was angry, and I get never understand fully why. I struggled with this anger, I fought with this anger, and  I spoke about
