If the Universe/ is expanding, then what is/ it expanding in? This is a question that I hear more and more frequently, and it has been rolling around in my mind. This is a thought that may change the very way that we look at the universe that we are in. Those of us that are on the journey may need to look at this question and discuss it. Because a question that is this big can change the life of those that are bold enough to ask and meditate on it. So ask the question and wait for the answer to come and change you.

Why spoil your children/ Then send them to public school/ Expecting some growth/ This Ha2ku is not just about spoiled kids, and then again it is. If we want to set standards for ourselves and others that is cool, but when we expect and even in some cases demand that others abide by these standards, we are not being realistic. I think that every parent, every lover, and every friend should spoil those closest to them, but to do this and not prepare them for the cold world is setting the spoiled up for a terrible crash. When the spoiled are flung into an environment that is not designed to cater to them they may not be able to handle the situation, which can lead to failure. This thought hit me as I was dealing with some young people that could not adjust to the school environment. When we spoil individuals then we need to willing to provide and give them what they need. Rainy days give us/ a chance to put out what we/ need cleaned in our lives/ Rainy days.... what is it about rainy days that seems to slow everything down. Being on my Journey I am forced to recognize what rainy days do for me. They allow me to slow down and clean up those rough spots in my life. Giving good speeches/ does not necessarily/ equals leadership/ It seems that we have confused the concept of leadership, with a good orator. Leadership for me is not about being able to loop together good sound bites, but more about being able to do, and make things happen. I have seen many a great speaker that when it came to crunch time could not lead him or herself to the restroom. I have also run into leaders that could not string together a good speech to save their life, but knew how to command a group. Then of course you have those who can do both. I just wanted to speak on this subject because I feel that the people of the world today are being given talking head leadership. Individuals who have been selected for their positions because they could recite a good speech, and move some emotion. It is time that we move beyond that, at least those of us on the Journey. We need to begin judging some of these so called leaders on what they have accomplished, rather than what they
