The Art of Adaptation: Unveiling the Wisdom of The Bat and The Weasels “It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.” — Aesop In the world of fables, we often find animals acting out the deepest parts of our humanity. These creatures, symbols of instinct and survival, carry lessons older than time itself. The Bat and The Weasels , retold from the mind of Aesop and reimagined through the lens of Gye-Nyame Journey, isn’t just a tale for children—it’s a guide for those grown folks who still seek mastery. When the World Has You Cornered Here’s the setup: A bat falls to the ground and is caught by a weasel. The weasel hates birds. So the bat, slick with the tongue, says, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse.” The weasel lets him go. Later, the same bat falls again. This time, a different weasel catches him. But this weasel hates mice. So what does the bat say? “I’m not a mouse—I’m a bird.” And he gets set free again. Now, you could say the bat was being dishonest. But hold on. Let’s go de...

Good intentions

I now understand/
Why the road to hell is paved/
With good intentions/
I am in in Muskegon Michigan with some wonderful young people (sending shots out to the mighty Simba & Simsa Nation). I am responsible for for alot of people this weekend so I will drop this blog quickly and illustrate it later so forgive me in advance for the blandness of the next few post.
I know many of you have seen the Secret video and probably looked at this Ha2ku and got offended, but this blog is not against the power of intention. What it is speaking on is the destructive power of intentions alone. Many of us have many intentions and just relying on intention alone can cause problems. I know many people who have good intention, but that is it. They take no action toward their goals, feeling as if intention is enough. If you take time to review the Secret video you will see that the important ingredient to making your intention manifest is you taking action. Intention without action is like sailing without a boat. Its possible but more than likely will not happen. Your intentions are energy needing the motive force of your action to manifest. Sitting around with the intention of accomplishing something with out direct action from you is simple a delusion. That is why our elders would say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Its not the fact that intentions especially good intentions lead us to hell, but it is the lack of actions behind the intentions that causes the problem. Many of us know someone in our lives that intend to do many things, but their apathy gets them in trouble. So remember this simple equation intention +proper action=manifestation but intention - proper action=delusion (which I personally feel is hell)
