Shedding the Illusions of Purpose

Shedding the Illusions of Purpose https://www.spreaker.com/episode/shedding-the-illusions-of-purpose--71060092 Family, we’ve been lied to about what it means to be "purpose-driven." Everywhere you look, somebody is telling you to grind harder, take on another project, or add a new title to your resume just to figure out why you are here. But what if your Nia (Purpose) isn't buried in the future? What if it's currently suffocating under the weight of everything you're carrying right now? We often think the path to peace and power is about acquisition. But the greatest warriors know that agility comes from dropping the armor that no longer serves you. Are you exhausted because you lack purpose, or are you exhausted because you are living out three different narratives that don't belong to you? We dive deep into this paradox on today's episode. Call to Inaction: "A tree does not grow by holding onto its dead leaves; it grows by letting them fall."...

No Half Way Dreams

Peace FAM:
Dreams are like wings in our youth, that help us soar through life and over problems, but if dreams are not pursued they become weights that hold us to the earth in our older years. I have dreams and had them when I was young, and often received the advice to put them on the back burner while I pursued more practical matters. I was told to get real, and as i got older and met with the bitter in life, I began to believe what I was being told, eventually we all run into major issues, and set back that appear to be holding our dreams hostage, and many of us like myself crack, and "get real".
Family I need to stress that there is no such thing as half way dreams. Our dreams can not inhabit the backs of our minds caged by circumstances. They were meant to fly, and if we don't invest our heart and soul and pursue them they will soar out of our site. Leaving us to our real life based in someone else's idea of reality.
We have to begin to rekindle the fire if we lost it and begin to pursue what is ours. The only thing that is holding us back is the echoes of the past in our heads. Listen we will suffer in pursuit of what is ours, but that is the way it is supposed to be. This suffering is nothing but an initiation into a new reality. We also have the responsibility to encourage others to pursue their dreams as well, especially the young. We know the insurmountable odds they are facing and we know that our lives may have been a little different if we had some encouraging words on our journey.
