The Locked Door with No Key: Why Ohio’s SB 153 Threatens Our Voting Rights Imagine being told you must enter a building to access your rights—to speak, to be counted, to shape the laws that govern your life. The door is locked, and you're told you need a key. But no one will tell you what kind of key you need. Some folks bring house keys. Others arrive with driver’s licenses, birth certificates, even passports. They jiggle them in the lock—nothing works. They aren’t denied because they’re unqualified. They’re denied because the rules changed without explanation. This is the danger behind Ohio’s Senate Bill 153 (SB 153)—a bill that hasn’t passed yet , but is already knocking on our community’s door. What Is SB 153? SB 153 is a proposed law—not yet passed —currently being considered by Ohio’s state legislature. It would require all voters to prove their citizenship before casting a ballot. That may sound fair on the surface—but the bill doesn’t define what “proof of citizenship” ac...

Peace FAM:
Great Umoja, and I wish you Peace, Power, Joy, and of course 1hunidyears. We start this week with some powerful momentum being provided by you, the readers. Many of you have taken the time to click and sign up for our mailing list and have also taken the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge. I am looking forward to your comments, and critique of the process so that we can make it better. The only way this tribe is going to grow and move into prosperity is with your input, and many of you are providing just that, and once a gain I thank you. it has been a long and arduous journey for me as a blogger, podcaster, and vlogger. I have sat on the side lines learning to use these platforms, and finally I am getting the hang of it. Keep on doing what you are doing , and let's build a culture that will out live us, and provide a viable future for our children here now, and yet to come. Family I lift my glass to you on this Daily Toast. I pray that our ancestors move in your life and help you overcome all the obstacles that may present themselves to you. I lift my glass in the hopes that our enemies will become just another stepping stone that will lift us in a glorious fashion toward our ultimate goals.
Culture is a major focus for me, at this time because I realized that without it, we produce artificial broken individuals that do us more harm than good. Culture gives us the option of forming our young, and selves into what we need to move forward in this world. Culture enables us to look into the chaos of this world and shape reality into what we need it to be. Many of you will read this and doubt my words, but the fact is that culture is the story that a people tells itself to help them make sense out of the world, and by us being bold enough to snatch our destiny and to begin to work on building a new culture for ourselves speaks volumes, and it calls the Creator and Ancestors to our aid.
Enough of my rant, and now to what I spoke on today. Whole grains are touchy subject, and for years I have heard that we should not consume them. We were told that since bread was made from wheat and other food stuff we needed to steer away from it, but that is a partial truth. The fact is that whole grains have been the building block of cultures all over the globe, including Africa. Many of these whole grains were seen as sacred crops, and the survival of the people were connected to them. The problem comes from man meddling with the process, and dividing these crops into components that separately are poisonous to the body, but if consumed in their original state and intact we have a vital product that can help us in our journey to health. In this video I look at whole grains and compare how grains being processed is very similar to how many of us have been processed, and this man made process not only ruins the grain and makes it deadly to consume, but the process we under go does the same to people. The process takes the grain and the human being out of the natural state causing it to act against it's nature, and moves it to working against itself. We have the opportunity unlike the grain to reverse the process that has been put on us, and move back toward wholeness and health, and in the process rescue the grains of our ancestors, and use it to build a new Culture for ourselves, which will lead to us creating a greater society, and Nation. Checkout the video, and feel free to Like, Subscribe and Share. For those that may be looking for some healthy grains, and also want to support GNJ here are a few links to some whole grain products in our Amazon store:

We pour libations/ to connect with all that is/ and to cleanse our hearts/ I need to start this article by stating this information is based on my personal experience. I have been pouring libations for at least 20 years all over the country and personally. Libations for me is a process of remembering, and connecting or re-connecting to not only the Spirit but everything around us . When we pour libations we are opening ourselves as well as the group to the axe ' of the entire Universe . I first must admit that I do not belong to a group, sect or religious order. I am a lay man who have made a personal connection with the world, and the spirit. By pouring Libations we strengthen these relationship. So let me define a few things first so that we can be on the same page. Libations - the process of pouring or giving a sacrifice to form a connection with this world and the spiritual realm. Spirituality - the state of establishing and maintaining relationships Axe...
