KET.N: “Our Thang,” Our Tribe, Our Responsibility

KET.N: “Our Thang,” Our Tribe, Our Responsibility Great day, Great day, my people! It’s your brother ha2tim, and today I’m bringing you a special reflection—one that digs deep into who we are, what we build, and why we must build together. This article centers around a powerful concept: KET.N , a Kemetic term gifted to our tribe by Brother Kwame Keuchler . KET.N , simply put, means “Our Thang.” Not just something we claim—but something we commit to. Something we shape and something that shapes us. The idea came alive during a conversation about gangster movies—yeah, I love those. One phrase always stood out: “This thing of ours.” And that got me thinking... Breaking the Chains of “Excellence”: A New Lens on Black Success I had an epiphany today. Well, it’s been creeping up on me for a while, but today, it finally hit me in full force. What systems did we use before we were forced into the ones we operate under today? As I started peeling back the layers, I realized that we’ve been having the wrong conversations. We talk about white supremacy, but we don’t always dig into the soil that it grow...

Do You Have Skin In The Game We have entered the week of Kuumba in the fourth cycle of 2022. I hope that you are enjoying the content that I am pulling together for you. I decided that rather than trudge through everyday and create something new, why not take some time and begin to go through some of the old content. Rewatch and listen and see if there is anything that I can pull out, and then begin to write about. This also gives me a chance to enforce upon myself some of the ideas that I have had over the years. If you are getting anything from this please like, share, and spread the word. By the way, make sure that you checkout FreeGNJecourse.com and get on our email list as well. Introduction I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “you have to put skin in the game”. In order to do anything great in life we need to be willing to risk something and put our hearts on the line. It doesn’t mean that we have to give up everything but it does mean we have to sacrifice what matters less so...
