The Architecture of Release: Sculpting with Kuumba https://www.spreaker.com/episode/the-architecture-of-release-sculpting-with-kuumba--71087749 They’ve got us fooled into thinking that creativity means we have to constantly produce. Every day, the culture tells you to add another side hustle, learn another skill, put on another hat, and wear another mask. We are walking around exhausted, carrying a hundred pounds of "more." But what if Kuumba—true Creativity—isn't about painting on a blank canvas? What if it's about taking a chisel to the heavy, hardened stone of expectations and scraping off everything that isn't the real you? On today’s episode, we explore the Orange energy of Kuumba through the lens of subtraction. We aren’t building today. We are demolishing the false narratives of who we are supposed to be. Call to Inaction: “A tree does not grow by holding onto its dead leaves; it grows by letting them fall.” What mask of "strength" can you stop ...

Daily Toast- Kuumba 422171

Peace FAM:
It is a brew day, and I am far behind. I was supposed to bottle up the ambrosia last night, but I was tired and went to bed. Now I am moving slow, and trying to do the best I kind with this shifting weather. my SCOBYs are holding up but being horribly slowed down by the huge jumps in temperature. I got them bottled up, and know to post up the video and get it to you. I am slowly moving toward the point of making my first shipments outside of Columbus, and I am excited.
Today we toasted this marvelous day of Kuumba, and I was able to talk a little bit more about the process of making the kombucha/jun. We also talked about the danger of misdiagnosing our emotional states. When we misdiagnose we get the wrong solution, which means we apply force in the wrong direction. This causes us to fall deeper into the whole of oppression, and moves us into a depressed state. These types of states drain our power, and moves us toward surrendering. It is important that we create situations where our tribe and family members can experience their natural state of power, peace, and joy. When we do this we make it easier for people to realize that they need to deal with their emotions appropriately so that they can return to that state. I for one would love to stay in Peace, Power, and Joy, and get outside of this negative programing that does nothing but keep me in a state of stress, that eventually will kill me. Checkout the video, and take some time out of your schedule to check us out at our Gumroad store and get some free extra content. Don't forget to take the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge, let us work together to get the changes you want in your life. Remember that it is free unless you want to pay something. For those that want to go deeper be on the lookout for the 21 week Gye-Nyame Journey Warrior Training. After you complete that you will be a certified member of the tribe as well as be able to help other people through the process in the future. We are trying to change the state of Black folks all over the globe especially those of us behind the lines in the wilds of North America. Join GNJ and let's leave a legacy for our children that they can touch.
