We talk about moving mountains, but we hesitate at the pebbles. Today, we close our cycle by examining the Red flame of Imani. We often think we need more information to succeed, but usually, we just need more conviction. If you feel like you are standing in place, check your foundation. Is it built on what you hope for, or what you know ? Call to Inaction: The bird that stops flapping its wings doesn't fall; it glides. Release the frantic need to prove yourself to the world. What if you just stopped trying to convince others of your vision and simply lived it? What fear is currently masquerading as "prudence" in your life? What "need to know" is actually just a lack of trust in your own internal compass?

Meditation Balances the Body's Systems

Image via Wikipedia I happened to be looking up some info about meditatition  for a group that I was doing, and decided to share an article I found. Actually this article started a few days ago when one of my elders sent me a video about transcedental meditation. Since I use some meditation techniques in my classes I decided to share  this information on my blog as well. I have decided that for the next 30 days I will meditate at least twice a day and blog about my experience. I am also challenging all my co authors, and members of  Gye-Nyame to do the same. Science is not only showing the healing properties of meditation on the individual's body, but has also shown that meditation also effects the world around us as well. So if I can get 50 people meditating with me for 30 days twice a day we can change the world. hahahahaa. Seriously I am putting out the challenge to all those on  the Journey, Meditate with me for the next 30 days or how ever many days our left....

The future is fast approaching and it looks like some major choices will have to be made by the human race. Get a glimpse at what is coming down the pike. How will these changes be made? Who will decide? In a world where everyone is super where is the specialness? These are just a few questions that we will have to face when the time comes, or at least those of us who have the money to make them. I can see the day when the backyard geneticist will be giving those in poverty the hook up... hahahahahaaa....check out the video:
