The Subtraction of Umoja: Why Building the Nation Means Shedding the Armor

The Subtraction of Umoja: Why Building the Nation Means Shedding the Armor Let’s stop lying to ourselves right at the front door. We’ve been heavily programmed by a hyper-individualistic simulation to believe that growth is always about adding more. We’ve been told we need to stack more titles, collect more individual armor, and hoard more personal validation before we are qualified to stand together. It’s a beautifully designed trap. The matrix wants you isolated in your own personal silo because a single twig is easily snapped. Our ancestral algorithm teaches us a completely different math: via negativa—the power of subtraction. True Umoja (Unity) isn’t realized by doing more; it’s realized by what we choose to shed. We have to scrape off the thick, suffocating buildup of blame, shame, and guilt that keeps us locked in states of being Mad, Sad, or Scared. That heavy baggage makes us toxic to the very people we claim we want to build with. The Lesson of the Seven Sticks: Separate an...

They’ve lied to you about your purpose

They’ve lied to you about your purpose https://www.spreaker.com/episode/equinox-of-purpose--70741318 They told you it was something you had to hunt down, hustle for, and build from scratch. They handed you a heavy bag of expectations, pointed you toward a steep hill, and called it a "career path." But today is Friday. Today is Nia. And today, the universe sits in the perfect, quiet balance of the Equinox. What if your true calling isn't found by adding more to your plate? What if the path to your highest self requires you to stop trying so hard to be everything to everybody? We spend so much of our lives accumulating titles, masks, and burdens that we bury the very thing we were born to do. It’s time to stop building and start unearthing. Listen to the latest episode to explore why your greatest power lies in what you are willing to walk away from. Call to Inaction: Proverb: "The river does not force its way through the mountain; it simply lets go of the banks and fl...

Aligning Yourself With The Cycles Of Nature

Image
Peace FAM: Today or should I say yesterday because my post on our site is always one day behind. I started a fast in an attempt to align myself with a cycle that has been adhered to by many, if not all ancient people. For those that do not know I am talking about the solstices and the equinoxes. In particular I am talking about the summer solstice that will taking place on June 20, 2017, which is known as the longest day of the year. I want to discuss with you these "power days", that I believe  can be used to help us update our bodies and help adjust our personal software to get us back in tune with the Universe. I don't want to go to deep on this subject but I want you to know that by learning about some of the larger cycles that we have been made ignorant of, can help us get in tune with our true selves. On the solar calendar the cycle of the sun can be broken down into four parts, and if you want to go deeper we can actually break it down more, but for our purpose ...
