DROP THE DEAD WEIGHT

DROP THE DEAD WEIGHT https://www.spreaker.com/episode/drop-the-dead-weight--70682050 You are exhausted, and it’s not because you aren't strong enough. It’s because you are carrying things that were never meant for your back. Today we look at Ujima—Collective Work and Responsibility—but we are looking at it in reverse. Most of us think community means we have to save everybody. We think being a solid Brother or a strong Sister means drowning ourselves to keep someone else afloat. But what if true collective power can only be unlocked when we stop trying to be the hero? What if the key to our liberation isn't doing more, but aggressively stripping away the false responsibilities we’ve absorbed over the years? We've been lied to about what it means to carry our community. Let’s talk about how to drop the cape and cut the ties. Call to Inaction: “A tree does not hold onto dead leaves; it lets them fall so it can breathe.” Take a moment today to reflect on what you need to rel...

Those Who Want Rain Must Also Accept the Mud

Listen to "Episode 2966 - No Frills, No Thrills just Brother ha2tim: "Those who want rain"" on Spreaker.   Those Who Want Rain Must Also Accept the Mud Great day fam. Let’s get straight to it. “Those who want rain must also accept the mud.” – African Proverb That’s the one I chose to work with on Day 2 of our Tribal Quotes journey. It hit me different, and I had to sit with it. See, everybody wants the rain. We pray for the blessings, for the harvest, for that growth to come in. We want the rain to fall and wash us clean, to nourish our seeds and bring our visions to life. But that same rain turns the ground soft. It gets slippery. It slows you down. That’s the mud—and you can’t avoid it if you really want the growth. You Can’t Have One Without the Other This ain’t just about weather—it’s about life. A...

Folktales & Proverbs - Daily Toast Nia 69171

Peace FAM: I have been on the grind for years now with, blogging, podcasting, vlogging and now brewing I am finally making inroads on a platform, but I feel I need to explain why I do what I do. I believe that I need to express the Nia that is flowing through me at this time. My purpose is to enlighten, uplift, encourage, and I must be honest to talk. Those that know me, know that this the truth. I believe and have believed for a long time that I was born to talk. I have supported my family with my mouth, I have provided jobs with my mouth, I have raised money with my mouth, and I can continue but I won't. I am driven to do this, and to the dismay of many in my life I continue. I will get up early in the morning to make sure that I am able to reach those that are taking the time out to listen. Hell I will do a show if no one is there, and I fell I need to explain this desire. Because the fact is that I am not alone, many if not all of my readers, listeners, viewers, and drinkers h...
