Drop the Cape, Save Your Spirit

Image
Drop the Cape, Save Your Spirit Drop the heavy load / We were never born to bleed / Alone in the dark Family, let’s be brutally honest on the porch today. We have been conditioned to worship our own destruction. We wear hyper-independence like a gold chain, but in reality, it’s just unhealed trauma wrapped in a cape. We’ve turned suffering in silence into a spiritual badge of honor. Our sisters are running on absolute empty—carrying entire lineages, households, and institutions on broken backs—while our brothers lock their agony behind iron doors, dying from unexpressed grief and high blood pressure because they think real men don't bleed in front of the tribe. GNJ Mall - March 30

It is time for another Market Day. Come out and support your community by shopping, networking and meeting new people. Last months GNJ Mall was great, but each month we will strive to make it greater. Our goal is to build this community market to the point where we are able to bring at least 1000 people out per month, and of course we need your help to make this happen. If each person that views this post would share it with 7 other people we can reach that number by July.
We also will be having our "Movie & Discussion" from 3-6pm. $5 for adults and free for 17 & Under. The movie for this month will be "The White Man's Burden" staring Harry Belafonte & John Travolta. Come out and let us hear your voice in the conversation. Checkout the videos:

Last month we had all types of vendors, and we posted up interviews with most of them on our timeline, this month we will hit them all. Check out the flyer and join us as we Build into tomorrow.
