This week I focused on showing you how to ferment some foods. I chose to start with cabbage, because it is easy and very healthy. I decided to add other food to it just to create a stew like feel. I was planning to use this food to help me break my fast, as well as give you some useful information that you can use to take some control of the food you eat. Even if you do not grow your oen food you can take charge of the nutrients you get from your food. If you cannot afford frsh vegitables, and only can get canned they can be fermented as well. I love the fermenting process because it gives the consumer some power. You get to decide what flavor you want to bring out, how long you want it to last, and etc.. Check out the video and take some time to do some of your own experiments, and feel free to share. I am always looking for tips and ideas to try.

Peace FAM: Y'all know that I am in love with the fermenting process. I actually believe that this the true practice of alchemy. So it is a pleasure to share this process with you. This is right about the time I started really losing weight during the fast, but we made it.

Quoina pronounced (ken-wah), is a gluten free, high protein, that contains all nine essential amino acids. This wondrous seed is easy to cook and can be added to your daily diet for any meal. I have eaten it in a like cream of wheat, I have and it in soup, and as just plain side.

We recently had a chance to take the girls to Slate Run Living Farms, a metro park near Columbus. The girls had a ball, and we decided to put this video together for you so that you could enjoy the trip with us. This is probably one of the most shocking ideas that i have run across, and it leads not just to competion but ultimately to human sacrifice. The scary part about is that it makes sense. Peace FAM: This poison is flowing freely through our tribes and families, and I can no longer tell whether we just gave up or just don't care. Peace FAM: We in life hold on to things that are not for with a death grip, and often release those things that can really make a difference in our lives very quickly, and we have to come up with new ways to evaluate these behaviors so that we can move to where we need to be in the world.

Peace FAM: Gina, Shasha, and a special guest explore making cake in a cup. Thanks to their grandmother constantly thinking about what they can present on the show. So we have a few more shows coming bout the cake in the cup. The girls just invented a super sweet concoction that almost made me break my fast. I won't go into detail, but just be on the look out because it is on its way. Peace FAM: I am playing catch up but it is cool. I have a couple of moments before I see the doctor so I decided to pen this article. On this video part one and two I get into the little information I have been to gather on this thing called the microbiom. I at first thought that it was about the gut, but the microbiom covers the entire body and can even influence behaviors. This organ or system in our body is estimated to have 100 trillion cells all working with in our bodies. These cells work according to what we put inside of our body by way of eating and drinking. They effect our thinking by releasing neurochemicals that affect the mood, as well as make shifts in our personality. There have been studied that connect some mental illnesses to the second brain which is another name for the microbiom. Peace FAM: It is time that I move to another level. I have spoke enough about sacrifice, suffering, embracing the bitter. Now it is time for us to see these things totally in action. I have decided to commit to completing another 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge with a fast. It is about to get hard. This time I will not be doing the intermittent fasting I will be doing a straight liquid fast. The goal is to demonstrate that it can be done, to help me workout some of my personal fears, and to solidify my vision for GNJ. I am not playing with this platform I have been blessed with, and I am not playing with this product that the Ancestors have dropped in my lap. I decided to call it the Gye-Nyame Quest.
