The Weight of False Loyalty: Stripping Down Ujima We’ve been sold a lie wrapped in cultural pride, and it is breaking our backs. For generations, the Black experience in America has glorified obligatory suffering. We’ve been conditioned to wear the titles of "Strong Black Man" and "Strong Black Woman" like badges of honor, when in reality, they are often just heavy yokes of trauma. We take on the "Black Tax," assuming the debts, the drama, and the dysfunction of everyone in our bloodline and our zip code. We mistake trauma-bonding for true tribal building, and it keeps us completely anchored in the lower frequencies of being Mad, Sad, and Scared. Today, we are vibrating on the frequency of Ujima —Collective Work and Responsibility. Bathed in the cool, deep hues of royal and light blue, Ujima is often misunderstood. Peace FAM: We will look at sex today, and discuss how it can become a point of contention, as well as a powerful tool to move you toward your goal. When seeking SelfMastery, as well as Nationbuilding all aspects of our lives need to help us move toward our goals. Especially those that are necessities, like eating, and sex. It is incredible to me that people will move toward change and leave the same old attitudes about sex in place. Sex is one of the most powerful things that we do in our life time. We literally create life during this act, but we neglect it when it comes to changing our lives. You can create the best life in the bedroom, as well as erect your own private hell. We have to be wise enough to use all of the tools we have been given on our journey to greatness. To overlook the major necessities of life is like trying to build a house with no hammer. Hookah and Conversation

Checkout the open mic conversations as I drop into one of my Hookah spots and open the conversation. This week we happened to be at the Shi-sha Lounge in Columbus. This spot lais back and right off campus and you never know who will drop in to say hello. this week we hit on: the third tool in the book "The Player's Pyramid" added to earlier description that I shared today. From a lesson I got from my youngest daughter trying to drive my car. I shared a lesson from the vault of my grandfathers wisdom, and from a request shared a fable created by Aesop called the "The eagle and the Kite" of coursed remixed in a Hip-Hop fashion.
