Warriors/Heroes return

After returning from a successful weekend and being blessed to be on a spiritual high for that weekend. I can not describe the amount of despair I felt returning back to the city. It is hard for a warrior/hero to return back home after their adventure. Why is this? It is hard to return to a world that does not understand you. It is hard to return to this plain reality when you have been a witness to miracles and the true power of the Creator. What all warriors/heroes must understand that our real test is never in the alternate realities that we experience or create, but right here in this world. Our true conflicts are in our homes and neighborhoods. We are allowed these rest periods to give us hope of things to come and to remind us of what we are fighting for. If you look into ancient myths you will see this theme being played over and over again. The heroes of old found it hard to adjust to everyday life when they knew that they have slayed dragons, and witnessed miracles. Not realiz...

We had a wonderful journey. We were able to build some new relationships that will help us build a legacy. The tribe grew this weekend, we were able to overcome some of the minor issues, and create a village from scratch. It is amazing that we did this with absolutely no money. I could only imagine how much more beautiful it would have been with a little money behind us. Friday we pulled up and built the village in the wrong place, and moved it and had it complete before night time. had pleasent meal and started are story time around the fire. i discovered why our people use to gather around the fire, because the effect of the fire on a story are incredible. This weekend for the first time we were able to actually tell the story of our Mythic hero around the fire and it was a beautiful experience. We will be having another village journey this fall. Getting us ready for a long winter. dont be shy come on out and experience this with us.Come learn about Gye-Nyame tribe. If you cant come...

Image via Wikipedia Preparing for camping trip , and realize that I have a lot of people around my circle on the fringes and doing nothing. I am tired of those who want kodos, but not willing to work. Come on people you have to want more than this world is offering. Let's just look at what we have to pick from: Clubs Selling and smoking weed all day Dead end jobs Taxes Movies Gang Dope Jail Did I mention dead end jobs. I know that there is more in the world and I'm going to help get my Tribes portion. Let us reach for the stars and not crumbs from the masters table. Let us dare like the heroes from the days of old, to do something different. I know that it is scary, but the only way we or you are going to make an impact on the world is to do something new. So what if it does not work. You have feedback for your next venture. Trust me I have been strugglin for a long time and I know personally the pains of failure (feedback), stress, frustration, and the fear of being...

Must apologize I was called to counter and accidentally pushed send. Bureacracy..... Well anyway I was talking with some young men and a issue dealing with identity popped up. One of the young men in the discussion group has a real temper issue and he got in an argument with an older gentle man that was passing through the group. I witnessed this young man go from 0 to 100mph in a few seconds. He became very disrespectful toward the older man and wanted to get violent. After the older gentleman left the room, I took the time to talk with the group about control and anger. I asked the young man why did he give away his control, and he could not understand what I meant. I descrbed the situation from my perspective for the young man to see. I told that the older gentleman did nothing to him, but asked you questions and you allowed the question to move you to a point where you could of not only hurt someone, but possible be hurt. He stated that he did not care. I then asked the young man ...

ID

I'm sitting at the license burea trying to prove who I am. It seems that as I get older I have to go through more to prove who I am. I wonder how much money is being made in all these state agencies. I look at it and can't help but recognize "Hustle". I'm in a line with dozens of people all moving in an orderly fashion to pay their money to get ID. My question is if it is a hustle how do I get in on it. I would love to be on the receiving end of some of these resources. But enough complaining, the thought that was sparked by the above experience is around idenity. I had the pleasure of having a discussion with some young men Brother Ha2tim Self Mastery Coach Nation Builder Urban Shaman
In two days we will be out in the woods erecting our village and enjoying our weekend. It will feel good to be able to get away from the city and be surrounded by my fam. The goal now is to find away to have at least six trips a year. The idea is to use a different site each time. we are starting with deercreek, but believe me as soon as we get back we will be arranging for another trip in another State park. Ohio is beautiful, and I think that our Tribe would benefit by going out and exploring the different sites first in Ohio and then eventually begin to move out into the midwest. Why have we decided to use the Camping trips as fundraisers? 1. They are fun 2. gives the tribe a chance to come together outside the city (which is by the way the first step in ROP, Seperation) 3. Gives people outside the Tribe an opportunity to experience Gye-Nyame 4. It is not to expensive to do (our first trip we charged $25 per person for 2 days) 5. we can bring our whole family 6. It is a mini family...

Erecting a village

This the beginning of something new in my journey. I have planned for this camping trip for 3 years and it is finally happening. I am proud of my tribe for helping making dreams come true. The strangest thing is that it happened with out me consciously focusing on it. I wrote the idea down, and presented the idea to a few agencies and none of them took me up on it. To be honest with you I just forgot. Time passed and i started developing the Tribe (story to come soon), and we were presented with a series of opportunities that lead us to a place where we could purchase exactly what was on my list 3 years ago. Although the camping trip did not have the same name it did maintain the essence. This just goes to prove that when you put something in the universe it happens. It might not come about the way that you want it but it does come about. We just have to be open enough to recognize it. So my challenge to all those who may read this, step back explore your life and see what projects or ...
