Seize Your Destiny: Shattering the Illusion of Waiting

Image
Seize Your Destiny: Shattering the Illusion of Waiting Stop Waiting Greetings, Family! Brother ha2tim here, inviting you on a transformative journey from the shadows of anticipation to the light of action. This narrative is a clarion call to all who have been caught in the snare of waiting for that 'perfect moment' or the 'right opportunity' to manifest. Let's unravel the fallacy of waiting and illuminate the path to empowerment, self-determination, and cultural resonance. The idea of waiting for a miraculous change is a seductive illusion that hampers our growth and dims the brilliance of our potential. Here's how we can break free and step into our power: The Myth of the Perfect Moment: Understand that waiting for the perfect moment often leads to missed opportunities. The perfect time is now, in the actions we take and the decisions we make. Self-Selection is Key: Embrace the concept of choosing yourself. The world is waiting for your light, but first, yo

How To Find Your Tribe

Image
The first and most important step to finding your tribe is a deep, internal realization about the kind of person you are. To find your tribe, you must first understand who you are. You must understand what you want from life, what you must have to be happy, and what's most important to you. Your understanding will change over time, and that's okay. But in the beginning, it's important to have a clear idea of who you are and how you want to live your life. Next, you need to do some research on your people your tribal DNA. Who are they? What do they want? What do they need? Where can you find them? What platforms or places exist where they congregate? How can you communicate with them? Once you've done the research and answered these questions, it's time to put yourself out there. This can be scary at first - especially if this is something new for you - but don't let that stop you! Get started right away! Once you've found your tribe, the reward is worth it.

How can I have Imani when I don't know who I am or why I am (sample)

Great Imani This principle applies to everything from our spiritual development to humanity as a whole. If we are not transcending, growing and striving for higher levels of consciousness, then what does the sunset mean? It means that the sun cannot expand except by rising. As it rises, it is setting a new day whose twilight represents a new sunrise that arises from seeds of its past. But these are just words and concepts. What must be actualized is our faith. Sure, we're all works in progress, but this principle of Imani must always be expanding for it to work. Just like the sun expands so shall we expand without limit or bound. Imani is a principle that must be actualized through practice. Imani indicates the need to expand ourselves beyond our subjective views of reality and put them into practice. It also means to move beyond our own limitations and boundaries, helping us to transcend our current level of consciousness. This can be done through daily conscious practice, study a

How To Create A Life Story (Sample)

Image
Great Kuumba: From a very early age, most of us are taught that the things we want in life are things that come from outside of us. We are also taught to believe that there is always some sort of struggle involved, and that it's not meant to be easy. But what if I told you that it's possible for you to create a life for yourself that was full of peace, power and joy? I'm going to teach you how to tell your own story, and how to use the power of Kuumba (creativity) in your life, so you can bring all the elements of your story into reality. First, let me ask you this: Do you feel like your life is lacking something? Do you have a void inside you that no amount of material possessions or social status can fill? If so, then welcome to the club! In today's world filled with "stuff", it's easy to forget what really matters: building relationships, creating a legacy and living your best life possible. Life is just too short not to live it at its best. And let me

I am a firm believer that our beliefs influence our reality. Our experiences are manifestations of our thoughts and feelings. I have been living in and on Nia for many years now and it continues to expand my awareness about what I truly want versus what I think I want. It has made me more aware of the choices in my life, which ultimately create my reality. Nia has taught me to be more in the present moment and to not let the past or future rule my day-to-day life. I used to be full of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs that created an abundance of fear in my life. After practicing Nia, I have become more aware of these negative thoughts and learned how to replace them with positive thoughts that serve me better. All of this is done without even thinking about it or making these changes consciously. When you are open and allow this movement to happen, your body will guide you through all of it. Nia is a powerful tool for transformation – it helps you tap into your inner abilities f

This idea of reciprocity applies to everything in life, from our friendships and relationships to our jobs and even our religion. Reciprocity is essential in all of these aspects of our lives because it creates a bond between people that would not exist otherwise. If you buy someone a drink at a bar or make sure they get home safe after drinking too much, they will recognize your kindness in some way or another and feel obligated to do the same for you in return. It is this that we have to build upon and make stronger if we are to move our Tribes to the next level. To get the full article you have to sign up for the GNJ Email List: Follow

Great Ujima: If you grew up in a typical Westernized household, then chances are you don’t maintain the practices of proper breathing and drinking enough water. The culturally appropriate diet that many continue to eat is overloaded with sugar and carbohydrates instead of culturally accepted vegetables, fruits, legumes, and minimal starches. In addition, our society has embraced sitting as the go-to position for enjoying entertainment or staying productive. This goes against fundamental movement that includes getting in touch with your body through proper stretching and strengthening exercises. As a result of not adopting these pillars, our overall health suffers. We become disorganized and are unable to address both internal disorganization as well as connect to others on a deeper level. On today's show we will hit this discussion head on by introducing our listeners to the "4 pillars of Gye-Nyame" and it's need in the procees of Ujima. The 4 pillars of Gye-Nyame,

The "Self" in Kujichagulia

Image
In our culture, the self is a powerful being. Kujichagulia or self-determination is that power of the self. The power to control one's destiny and create one's own path in life without fear or guilt. To be able to live freely in your own skin without the fear of being controlled by other people's opinions, judgments or expectations. The self is the ultimate being and as such, it should not be oppressed. It is the most perfect aspect of being and as such, nothing can be greater than it. Our oppressors want us to believe that they are larger than life and that they are in control of our destinies. They want us to believe that we are powerless, unworthy and incapable of making decisions for ourselves. They want to control our minds so that we become followers instead of leaders, but this does not have to be so. Follow Listen to "Kujichagulia Toast - The "Self" in Kujichagulia" on Spreaker.

The Revolutionary Practice Of Umoja

Image
In today's show, we're going to look at the Umoja principle, and I'm going to try to explain it in a way that makes it more accessible. We need to bring the power of Umoja into our own lives. The first step is to understand and incorporate the principle into our day-to-day life. Then, we can begin to spread it within our tribes and communities, and then, hopefully, around the world. Learning To Trust in Your Ability

Image
In today's podcast I want to talk about trusting yourself. We are all so worried about what others think of us that we lose sight of who we are and our abilities. The more you work on mastering your ability the more you understand that it doesn't matter what other people think. You can create the life you want to live regardless of what others may say or do. When you trust in your ability everything else will falls into place. You will stop worrying about others and feel empowered to make the changes that need to be made for yourself. The best part is once you can trust in your ability it will become easier and easier until one day you wake up and realize that life is not half as bad as it seemed before. Trust in your ability to live a better life. Follow Listen to "Imani Toast - Learning To Trust in Your Ability" on Spreaker.

The Power Of Your Culture, Structure Your Reality (True Magic)

Image
Great Kuumba: There is a lot of power in our culture and the stories we tell. We need to understand how to harness that power, and use it to build new realities for ourselves. Telling our own stories is very important because we are constantly bombarded by the stories of others. They are all around us and they can shape how we think about our possibilities in life. Total Victory allows us to create our own world, our own reality where we have total control over every aspect of our lives. To do this, we must learn how to harness the power of our kuumba and tell stories that will empower us, change us, and move us into action. Kuumba is creative energy. It is the source of everything we have in life, including the ability to create stories that empower us. In order to be successful with Total Victory, you have to learn how to harness your kuumba and use it to tell empowering stories that move you into action. How do you harness your creative energy? How can you use it effectively? If you

Great Nia: "Waste not want not" is an adage that many of us have heard from the time we were tall enough to understand what the words meant. It is something that has been repeated to us so often that it has become part of our everyday speech. Nia Toast brings you a new outlook on this principle with a radical approach to making your voice heard and using your gifts for positive change in the world. We are all about using our gifts, talents, and skills for good and today's show is no different. We discuss how this applies to those who have been enslaved and exploited by the enemy of our culture, who are giving their best efforts towards advancing the agenda of white supremacy. The tools are all in place for us to change the course of history, but only if we use them correctly. One Shot: Stop Wasting Your Talent! Sign up for the GNJemail List to get our daily insights. Taking Ourselves Seriously

Image
Great Ujamaa: In this episode we explore the difference between being serious and taking ourselves seriously. Taking our history seriously, really looking at it, and understanding how we got to where we are today is essential. Taking our principles seriously is also essential. Being serious about them, however, will not get us anywhere. What will? Taking ourselves personally seriously, being accountable and responsible for everything that we do and say, realizing that what truly matters is how we live. If we live with integrity – if we are kind and compassionate towards others – the rest will follow. We can change the world by changing ourselves first. And when I say "we", I mean "you", because you are in charge of your own life. Responsibility and accountability are the keys to making things happen in our own lives. How much do you take yourself personally seriously? How much do you really want to make a change in your life? Do you have enough responsibility and a

Will & Ujima:Will Power, Ujima and the Purpose of Our Community

Image
Will? What's will? That's the topic of this week's episode of The Will & Ujima podcast! Will is something we all have inside us, but what is it really? The dictionary says that will is "the capacity to decide what to do." It also says that will is "the power to determine one's own actions independently of outside forces." So we have the power to make decisions for ourselves, and those decisions can affect our larger communities. Will can be a powerful thing, and when we work together, we can use our will for some pretty great things. We've seen it time and time again throughout history: when people come together in fellowship to work for a common goal, amazing things can happen. And the more people you bring together in fellowship with your common goal, the more amazing things can happen. So I'd just like to take a moment right now to thank you all for listening, and I hope you enjoy this episode! To get the rest of the article and the

Great Kujichagulia:  We are surrounded by fakeness. Fakeness in the media. Fakeness in the products we buy. The clothes we wear. The food we eat. And how about the people you interact with? Are people truly genuine, or are they simply putting on a show for others? What is true strength? What does it look like? With so much fakeness in the world, it has become essential to have strong individuals around us who can fight against it. Strength comes in many forms. There are some people with natural strength that seem to always do the right thing, while other people have strength that they earned based on overcoming obstacles. Everyone has an inner strength that lies dormant within them. Finding this strength and harnessing it can lead to a happier and more successful life by challenging yourself to be unique, not just for others, but for yourself. How to Overcome Poverty Using Umoja

Image
Poverty is not the lack of things, but rather the lack of a positive mindset. Umoja is an attempt to find a new way to think about ourselves and our relationships with each other, in order to create a society that benefits everyone. It is about being able to control your own mind, and choosing to make yourself useful, instead of demanding others provide for you. It is about forgetting what you don't have, and learning to appreciate what you do. It's about seeing yourself as part of a larger community, rather than an individual who's asking for charity. It's about working together as one people with one goal - and it begins with making yourself useful. Get the full writeup by joining us on our email list... Keep The Faith (Sample)

Image
The thing about faith is that it is invisible. It’s not tangible, but we all have it. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the faith we already have. When I was younger, I had a hard time with this. I wanted to know why things happened, and why certain people were born or died. And then I learned that some questions are better left unanswered. Faith itself is the shield around us that protects us from those things we don’t understand. Faith isn’t just about believing in something you can’t see; it’s about believing in yourself and never giving up on your dreams. It’s about fighting for what you believe in and staying strong when everything seems to be going wrong. On todays show we are going to discuss keeping the Faith, Come on in and join us....   Creativity is how we process the world. It's a by-product of our existence and something we just do. It's also something that can be developed and honed to have a more profound impact on the way we interact with our surroundings. Creativity is often associated with artistic endeavors, but the most powerful creativity is one that goes beyond art. Tapping into your creative potential can be done in many ways. Some people take up hobbies such as painting or music to get them through life. Others take part in political activism and social movements. In today's show, I will examine creativity as an alternative tool with which we can confront institutions of oppression and exploitation, create new communities of mutual aid and cooperation, provide alternative sources of employment, and generate models for human development that are consistent with our high potential as a tribe. Looking for Nia in All The Wrong Places

Image
Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and just stared at the ceiling? I know I have. At that time, I pondered the biggest questions we could ask ourselves - “What’s the purpose of my life? Why am I here and what am I supposed to do? What’s my purpose?” These questions can be difficult to answer, but they are essential. The most effective way to find your purpose is to understand who you are as an individual. However it can be tricky to do that since most of us have so many facets to our personality. To make things even more complicated, each of us has different priorities when it comes to finding our purpose - some people want independence and freedom while others want a sense of belonging. This is why it can be hard to figure out what your purpose is. Is it making tons of money, being a best-selling author, or traveling the world? Or maybe it’s something else entirely. How do you know what will make you happy? As humans we are complex beings and finding our purpose doesn

Myth About Emotions & It's Effects On Ujamaa (Sample)

Image
The subject of Emotions and the effect it has on our lives, is the most frequently discussed topic. This talk will focus on the "Myth" of emotions and how it is being used against us as a tool to control our actions. This talk will explore the basics of how emotions are used as a tool against us and why they are so important in your life and business. Your life is ruled by two seemingly opposing forces? One is a force of forward (progress) moving energy and the other, a force of slowing us down, resisting change, making us carry unnecessary dead weight. They are in constant conflict, each trying to gain dominion over our lives but here's the problem... Both are trying to draft you. The question then becomes, Which will it be? If you think you can base your actions on wisdom and make progress while resisting your emotions... think again. Your emotions are not separate from you, how you feel has an enormous impact on what you do and how you live your life. Listen in and g
