Reflect

Image
Image via Wikipedia click When life seems to hard/ Reflect on struggles in past/ Ancestors will guide/ When I am going through hard times I try to reflect on my ancestors. I remember what they went through and my problems seem to shrink. They don't go away or vanish, but they shrink to something that is manageable. Looking at our past, and what our ancestors went through humbles us. It reminds us that the problems we face can be conquered. Our ancestors have left us blueprints in the stories they left us. Look into the past by finding the stories. Not just in the library, but take some time and learn from the mouth of some of your elders. It will surprise you how well some of  them can weave a tell. It may surprise you what you will learn about your own family. Our gift to the future is the stories we are living now. Our children will go through hard times as well. Make your story the one that is told to help get your  great grands through. Nuff said Peace and 1hunidyears

Shed

Image
Image by Paul Garland via Flickr Like snakes shed their skin/ And beast fur, humans should shed/ Unproductive thoughts/ Nature gives us excellent models to follow. We need to periodacally shed some of those thoughts that add nothing to us. Stop letting these thoughts hang around and take up space and valueable time. These thoughts attract to us the very things we dont want in our life. so take dome time and do loke the beast of nature and shed. Height of life

Image
Image via Wikipedia The height of your life/ Depends on the depth and width/ Of your foundation/ I have run into many people who have wanted to soar to the heights of life. They have big dreams and positive thoughts, but unfortunately that is not enough. We have to go into the foundation  of our life and dig deeper. If we truly want to build our lives to a highest height we have to be willing to do the work to dig deeper, and widen the base. These are of course  metaphores for getting into ourselves. Going into to the dark places in our soul that make us uncomfortable. When we plunge into the depths of ourselves we find out who and what we really are. We recieve the true blessings that were given to us at birth by the universe, and stop holding on to the false gifts of this world. The ancients teach us that we must learn to distinguish between a "gift and a bribe." this world can only bribe us and fool us into following the pide piper to our destruction. We are instructed

It'll spread over into your work, into your mortality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you.     Bruce Lee Let me tell you a little story. It's like being in a wolf's den. The wolf sees someone on the outside who is interested in freeing me from the den. Number 6

Image
Image via Wikipedia Family is built/ On freedom if it is not/ Chaos is released/ Number 6 reminds us of the importance of family. It speaks to us to the power of relationships. It ties us back to what spirituality is really about. Spirituality is about building and maintaining relationships. The 6 is shaped like a laso this reminds us of the power that it has to hold things together. This number helps us in life because it force us to recognize our over all connection with all things. The 6 is a femine number which speaks of its internal and nuturing nature. This number is also mutable which means that it has the ability to adapt and adjust to all situation, and its element is earth. All of this point to the true nature of the 6, and that is love. 6 is the numerical expression of love. Learn to use this power to build your life, family and friend network. Be like and a lasso and bring people in. Generate this love by realizing your unity with all. Nuff said Peace & 1hunidye

click to purchase At this time I heard the bell ring announcing some new customers were entering Brothers. For some reason I turned to see who was coming in. Usually I don’t sit with my back to the door, but this old man made me feel safe. Four men entered the door. Two of which I knew. Key and Brutus.  The other two must have been some new recruits. They walked toward me and the old man’s table. “Oh shit” I said under my breath. “What’s up Jay?”, Key said “We’ve been looking for you for months.” “Yea….I’ve just been laying low staying out the way.” “Dog we thought you were dead or got kidnapped. What’s been up?” “Like I said I’m just trying to stay out of the way.” “That nigga is lying,” Brutus said, “Let’s just do what we came to do.” Me and Brutus never got along. Nigga always wanted my position. Never wanted to play the role he was given. Brother wanted to steal my shine. I guess with my disappearing for a while he was able to move up in the fam. “Calm down B

Click cover to purchase Hope you enjoy. here is some story tellin for you. Sit back check it out and prepare because I'm working on it as we speak. The Baba     My adventure began in a little coffee shop called Brothers. In this place you would find a mixture of people talking business , talking about the latest political news, or just sitting silently enjoying their tea or coffee. I am a new customer.  About four months ago you would have never found me in a place like this. They served no alcohol and there were no women that I could try to take home with me.     I recently (3 months ago) stepped away from the game. I just could not do it anymore. I had been hustling since I was sixteen, but for some reason I just could not continue on that path. I had negative feelings about what I was doing prior to 3 months ago, but that is when I really realized I needed to stop. Usually I could quiet my conscious down by buying myself something, or better yet buy someo
