Many awaken believing that they are owed the day, but those on the Journey realize that each day is an opportunity for  growth, and most importantly Greatness. This particular saying is one that I developed through my youngest sun. He rises early with me and seems to never have a problem rising no matter what time I awaken him. One day he was moving slower than usual and this statement came out.

Warrior Training 11-15-2014

This week we will complete the story of Gye and discussing the importance of  "stories, legends , and myths" to warriorship and nation building. Be sure to check out the tales that I have included to help prepare you for our process. Stories are very important in the work that we are doing, so come prepared to think. Asaru will be doing a session on city and regional planning, sister Traci will be beginning our study on Vedic math, and Brother Mansur will be leading yoga. This one was inspired by a Nordic Myth. I was recently listening to some book by an author by the name of Neil Gaiman. The titles in the order of my reading were Anasi Boys, which was so good that I decided to purchase American Gods. This was an excellent listen. Now to the picture, in American Gods, one of the lead characters was name Wednesday, and as you read you found out that he was Odin. In the story Odin was described as a god that "Sacrificed himself, to Himself", and I like that Idea and it sparked this thought that hit me at 2:49 am 10-27-14... Here you go:
