  Delete the 'Mad/Sad' Program: Why Your Outrage Is Keeping You Unbroken Let’s stop playing games: half of us are addicted to our own suffering. We wake up, open our phones, and actively look for something to make us furious or leave us feeling hopeless. We wear our outrage like a badge of honor and parade our grief around like proof of our commitment to the culture. That isn't commitment. It's an emotional trap, and it’s draining your *axé* until you have zero fuel left to build a damn thing. We have been conditioned to stay locked in reactive loops—perpetually **Mad** at broken systems or collapsed in **Sad** over historical heartbreaks and personal betrayals. This emotional clutter leaves you fragmented, exhausted, and easily manipulated. You become a puppet to every algorithm and street-corner disrespect that comes your way. The Gina Gee Project "Cream Of Wheat"

The Gina Gee project is a show that my daughter created. She saw me making video, and been watching YouTube​ and decided to do her own thing. For the last year she and her sister Ms. Shasha have been recording video using up all of my storage space, and figured that it was time to support her. Her first video is about making Cream of wheat. She in a dramatic fashion microwave her breakfast and teaches the viewer. I believe that when our children show interest and dedication to something we should support them. This might be a phase, but I am trying to use it as what our ancestors call a "lure to Mastery". I believe that our children need to be taught skills and in this video project she will learn, acting, interviewing, editing, and story structure and story telling. All these are transferable skills that can be used in pursuit of her life's purpose. Of course she will get a write-up from me on our site,  at least until she ( hopefully) starts writing her own accompa...

Game Changers- 1Hood

Now, I knew that my brothers  +jasiri X  and  +Paradise Gray  were in Pittsburgh NationBuilding, but to see the video shines a long needed light on the work that they have been doing. These brothers have moved the concept of hood media to another level. By setting up an academy that arms young people with media and the skills to control their images, they have empowered a generation of thinkers that will definitely have a say in the direction are communities go in. I only hope other youth groups embrace the model and begin to use media to build the images that they want to see rather than be victims to the images that are being produced for them and the world to see.
