Umoja & The Patch of Unity: Why Loud Noise Starves the Tribe

Umoja & The Patch of Unity: Why Loud Noise Starves the Tribe A lion standing in high grass that roars before striking gives away its position every single time. It’s an unvarnished ancestral truth: "A roaring lion kills no game." Loud threats, performative outbursts, social media flexing, and aggressive posturing produce zero sustenance for the pride. The roaring lion makes a spectacle, fills the air with theatrical bravado, but when night falls, its stomach remains empty and the cubs go unfed. Look around at our digital and physical spaces today. We are surrounded by empty roaring. We’ve been conditioned by a hyper-individualistic system to treat every disagreement like a war, every misunderstanding like a betrayal, and every friction point like a stage for public drama. We roar at our brothers, launch sub-tweets at our sisters, and bleed our axĂ© out into the ether—all while remaining trapped in reactionary states of being Mad, Sad, or Scared. Gye-Nyame Steaming Journey

Image
This a lunch I put together in my steamer. Actually it took me longer to post this, than it did to make the meal. It is simply some fresh eggplant, zuccini (which was given to me by a parent, grown in her garden) onion, garlic, radish, bell peper, and carrot. Later I will add a little spicey tomatoe sauce, and eat in less than 20 minutes. Try it out or share some of your steamed meals for me to try.

Gye-Nyame Steaming Journey III

Here is another meal I put together in my steaming journey. I am looking for meals that are healthy and good for me as I begin to move back to my warrior weight. Today we have a green bean mix. I simply mixed some fresh green beans, some of my left over great northern beans, onion, garlic, and bell pepper . Steamed over a bed of salmon. I used some cinnamon, a little  turbinado sugar , salt, black pepper , and a little to much  cayenne pepper to season it. I also squeezed some fresh orange juice over it as well. After completing steaming. (30 minutes) I put it over a bed of rice (did not steam rice only have one steamer here), and now I am about to eat. So far the only effects have notice from the steam food is a slight itchy feeling in my skin, I will do some research but I figure this is my body adjusting to the food. I will keep you informed about any other changes that I experience from my new diet changes. Nuff said Peace & 1hunidyears l...
