It sounds like "I got it on my own." It feels like standing completely alone on top of a hill, isolated from the very people who prayed you into existence. But let’s stop playing nice and look at the diagnostic warning our ancestors left us from Uganda: "If you cut your chains you free yourself. If you cut your roots you die."
