Conservatism, Reaction, and the Elder's Responsibility: A Message to My Age Grade

Conservatism, Reaction, and the Elder's Responsibility: A Message to My Age Grade Great Day, Fam. This one right here? It’s not for everyone. If you’re not at or approaching Eldership—defined in our tribe as about 55 years old and up—you might not feel all of this. But if you’re curious, or if you’re one of those younger souls already walking with wisdom, you’re welcome to keep reading. This message is for the Elders. For those of us who should know better. And yes—I’m including myself. Let’s Start With the Mirror I’ve got to confess something. I’ve been guilty. Guilty of being reactionary. Guilty of falling into the trap of conservatism. Guilty of romanticizing the past. Guilty of looking at our young people and calling them “soft”—as if we were born warriors, as if we didn’t have to become who we are through fire, failure, and guidance. Many of us Elders are stuck in a loop. We remember only the highlights of our youth—the toughest times we survived, the boldest moments ...

I first must apologize to my readers who have been waiting for me to complete the number system, but thank you for your patience. If you have been keeping up with the blog you know that I have been busy. Ideas have been popping up and plus I am trying to get my books out. Those who have purchased I thank you, those who have not, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Support the Journey I am hopefully creating value and if you are benefiting support. You can buy book, books, or contribute $2 when ever you feel like it.
Five in the Gye-Nyame system speaks of freedom to us. Freedom is built on the backs of all the numbers before it. It is the next natural step after order is established.
Five is + which means that it is an out going force. It is the spirit of five that is in the heart of every adventurer and entrepreneur. It is through the number 5 that we begin to not just reflect on what we were, but we begin to truly wonder and experiment with who and what we can become. This is a power that you can use to overcome all obsticles in your way. Because 5 is born out of fire and it tends to burn up all things that try to hold it in a place that it don't want to be.
5 is the bridge between the spiritual and the physical world. It is at the level that if we on the Journey can get confused. Because our focus begins to become more external. We begin to look more at what we can do in the world rather than using this energy to heighten our spiritual life first, and recieve the benefits.
So use the power of 5 but be careful because you can get burned by this powerful energy if you are not careful.
