The Art of Adaptation: Unveiling the Wisdom of The Bat and The Weasels “It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.” — Aesop In the world of fables, we often find animals acting out the deepest parts of our humanity. These creatures, symbols of instinct and survival, carry lessons older than time itself. The Bat and The Weasels , retold from the mind of Aesop and reimagined through the lens of Gye-Nyame Journey, isn’t just a tale for children—it’s a guide for those grown folks who still seek mastery. When the World Has You Cornered Here’s the setup: A bat falls to the ground and is caught by a weasel. The weasel hates birds. So the bat, slick with the tongue, says, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse.” The weasel lets him go. Later, the same bat falls again. This time, a different weasel catches him. But this weasel hates mice. Here is a poem written by one of my brothers. he sent it to me and I thought I would share. he is releasing a new product called OXYWATER. It is a powerful drink and you will hear more about it on the Journey. The best part it is good for you and good tasting a rare mix in the bottled water industry. So check out his work. By the way if enough readers comment I might be able to talk him into sending out some samples. Cause you know it gets hot on the Journey.

Head Spin

At times my mind churns and turns,
spinning my thoughts into butter.

I am anxious to see what my heart may feel,
excited, so delighted by the thoughts of the meal.

Seduction happens in a clever way
when I can't express the words I should say.

Redemption happens where truth is summoned,
the reckoning shall cast away the shame.

The mind bends, the eyes shutter, the ears deafen,
my mouth stutters.
My mind spins my thoughts to butter.

I am delighted by thoughts of the meal.
