KET.N: “Our Thang,” Our Tribe, Our Responsibility

KET.N: “Our Thang,” Our Tribe, Our Responsibility Great day, Great day, my people! It’s your brother ha2tim, and today I’m bringing you a special reflection—one that digs deep into who we are, what we build, and why we must build together. This article centers around a powerful concept: KET.N , a Kemetic term gifted to our tribe by Brother Kwame Keuchler . KET.N , simply put, means “Our Thang.” Not just something we claim—but something we commit to. Something we shape and something that shapes us. The idea came alive during a conversation about gangster movies—yeah, I love those. One phrase always stood out: “This thing of ours.” And that got me thinking... Because we need that same spirit when it comes to Gye-Nyame. When it comes to Simsa. When it comes to our culture, our children, and our future. We need our own KET.N. KET.N: It Belongs to Us. We Belong to It. KET.N isn’t just a word—it’s a sacred commitment. Our Thang represents a bond with something greater than any individua...

Awake or Dreaming

Awake or Dreaming
Sometimes it is hard to tell
When looking for, Why
Why? Why? Why?
This question popped up in my dreams. Why do I write, about this Journey? Simply I have no choice. My mind begins racing and I have to find a pen or a keyboard. My thoughts will not let me sleep. This morning the question of why, kept ringing for me. So here is the why behind the Journey.
I believe there is a need for a word of encouragement on the web. That can stick to our mind and soul, rather we being stuck in a web of empty chater and complaints. The Journey came about as a personal need. It is my pulpit, my office, my property, that I can have gathering minds come to a feast of thoughts and ideas. A place where I can share ideas as well hear others views on those ideas.
I created the Journey for you to put your poetry, songs, hypothosis, pics and etc.. Make sure you use it. For me personally writting is a meditation. It is a challenge to over come my fears of others viewing my writing, my intimate thoughts about the Spirit, and moving towards it with out the chains that society seems to have looped around are necks. This is Sacred ground set aside for you, a place where those on their personal Journey can rest their eyes, share their souls, get and give advice on how to move through this world.
So welcome to my piece, or should I say our piece of paradise in the now. Welcome enjoy and hopefully find your why. I welcome you whether you are awake or sleep walking. Come in take your shoes off and open your mind.
