Conservatism, Reaction, and the Elder's Responsibility: A Message to My Age Grade Great Day, Fam. This one right here? It’s not for everyone. If you’re not at or approaching Eldership—defined in our tribe as about 55 years old and up—you might not feel all of this. But if you’re curious, or if you’re one of those younger souls already walking with wisdom, you’re welcome to keep reading. This message is for the Elders. For those of us who should know better. And yes—I’m including myself. Let’s Start With the Mirror I’ve got to confess something. I’ve been guilty. Guilty of being reactionary. Guilty of falling into the trap of conservatism. Guilty of romanticizing the past. Guilty of looking at our young people and calling them “soft”—as if we were born warriors, as if we didn’t have to become who we are through fire, failure, and guidance. Daily Journey 220171

I should be sleep, but I have run into issues that will not let me loose. I have been working on a 10 minute video for over 12 hours. It all started with a nice text from my mobile carrier (Tmobile)letting me know that my unlimited data plan was limited. Yep, with all my excitment about uploading my videoes on a daily basis I ran into the fact that my data is truly limited. My internet slowed to a crawl. My poor phone did not understand and went haywire, and died on me. I had to borrow some money to get a new phone, so that i could keep posting, but it would take about 2 days to get you a video as slow as my phone was moving. I decided to use my laptop and download my video from my phone directly into my computer and then shoot it to yall that way, but ATT had other plans. Damn, Damn, Damn.... So if you are reading this you have an opportunity to see a video that helped drain my data, break my phone, and robbed me of sleep. So I hope that you enjoy. I will see you in the morning for our toast. Remember Like, Subscribe, and most importantly Share.... Let's Build! Enjoy.
Peace & 1hunidyears
