Deep purpose is the ability to connect all of your actions directly to your ultimate goal in life. An example of this would be a doctor who makes sure that every patient she sees knows about the benefits of eating healthy, and then sends them home with recipes for heart-healthy food. Another example would be a teacher who helps their freshman students with their college applications, and gives them a little extra push when it comes to their essay writing. Both people are doing what they love, and working towards their ultimate dreams—and that's the deep purpose.
