KET.N: “Our Thang,” Our Tribe, Our Responsibility Great day, Great day, my people! It’s your brother ha2tim, and today I’m bringing you a special reflection—one that digs deep into who we are, what we build, and why we must build together. This article centers around a powerful concept: KET.N , a Kemetic term gifted to our tribe by Brother Kwame Keuchler . KET.N , simply put, means “Our Thang.” Not just something we claim—but something we commit to. Something we shape and something that shapes us. The idea came alive during a conversation about gangster movies—yeah, I love those. One phrase always stood out: “This thing of ours.” And that got me thinking... Because we need that same spirit when it comes to Gye-Nyame. When it comes to Simsa. When it comes to our culture, our children, and our future. We need our own KET.N. KET.N: It Belongs to Us. What do we do when we run into blocks in our lives? These blocks are set before us to prepare us for what is coming. This is the time to dig in and stick it out. These blocks whether it comes in the form of writers block, relationship blocks, career blocks, and etc., when we come to these blocks we are forced to change our view. Let us stop looking at these blocks as difficulties and start looking at this blocks as negatives and begin to look at them as opportunities for growth. These blocks when looked at in this way they become our stepping stones to greatness.

These blocks give us time to explore ourselves , and the many different talents and skills that we have. Sometimes we continue doing the same thing for so long that we become stuck in one way of viewing the world. The so called block gives us an opportunity to look at new solutions and new ways of viewing our problems. When we step out of what we are use to this throws us into a marvelous new world that gives us the opportunity to see the world with new eyes and gives us the solutions we need. We only stay stuck when we continually try the same solutions over and over again. So take the time to look at your block as an opportunity to grow, and push through by taking the time to look at yourself and the world in a new way.
