The Art of Adaptation: Unveiling the Wisdom of The Bat and The Weasels “It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.” — Aesop In the world of fables, we often find animals acting out the deepest parts of our humanity. These creatures, symbols of instinct and survival, carry lessons older than time itself. The Bat and The Weasels , retold from the mind of Aesop and reimagined through the lens of Gye-Nyame Journey, isn’t just a tale for children—it’s a guide for those grown folks who still seek mastery. When the World Has You Cornered Here’s the setup: A bat falls to the ground and is caught by a weasel. The weasel hates birds. So the bat, slick with the tongue, says, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse.” The weasel lets him go. Later, the same bat falls again. This time, a different weasel catches him. But this weasel hates mice. So what does the bat say? “I’m not a mouse—I’m a bird.” And he gets set free again. Now, you could say the bat was being dishonest. But hold on. Let’s go de...

Be true and DO YOU!!!/

Why live life, and not fulfill what you were born to do? all though this sounds strange we all know people who are not "doing them', but doing what everyone else thinks they should be doing. We sometimes get caught in the net of others lives, and try to fulfill our duties to the world around us neglecting to do what we were put here to do. This is a major challenge on this Journey. Think about those that walked the path of SelfMastery before you. Although I am writing about it today this process has been around for millenia. Usually those that chose this path had to plunge themselves into the unknown, and face the fact that they would loose the support of those closest to them. This is painful, but it is necessary, and in the end rewarding. Jesus walked away from his earthly family to fulfill his journey. Buddha left great wealth and power for the same reason. Booker T. Washington with stood the ridicule of those he was trying to help as well. Look at the life of MLK, Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Thomas Edison and the list continues. Those that dared to "Do Them" experienced a period of hell and loneliness, but it is a in these times that we are reborn. Only by facing these stepping stones to greatness, these what some will call failures, can we move beyond the unsuccessful "Group think'

Group think is the unsuccessful thinking patterns we have been taught since our birth. Group think has its place, but when it overcomes our individual development it is a problem. Group think is a survival mechanism that is created by a group to maneuver through a world that is consider dangerous. We have to be bold to overcome this survival mechanism. those who succumb to this group thought seldom move toward what it is they were born to do. They usually become stuck  in the patterns that have been produced from the fear of the group. So anything done outside of this is seen as dangerous. Those that were born to Journey usually are faced with ridicule and sometimes physical threats to keep them in the herd. The true sojourner challenges these views and is tasked by themselves, and/or their higher power to move outside and beyond their traditional views. This leads to being ostracised by some.

Sojourner continue moving fear not, Do You at all cost, because doing others will trap you in a life that does not belong to you. This will be followed by depression, and poverty (not just of material objects, but mental and spiritual). When you are challenged with the questions like:
Who do you think you are?
Why do you think you are so special?
You think that you can change the world?
We have been doing it like this forever?
and etc..
You can laugh and know that you are being confronted by those who are caught in group think, and the truth may be that they may be jealous of your boldness to do what they may truly want to do. so push forward on your chosen path and know that the hard times are signal that you are on the right path. Remember your lessons about Fear, and Alchemy (check archives for blogs).
