Great Kuumba:

We have made it through week two of this cycle's challenge and I want to salute all of you that are participating and hanging in there. I know that it can be hard dealing with these questions, getting up for the Toast Ritual, writing and moving more than usual, but believe me (My fault), don't believe me believe the process. The process that you are going through now was created over a long period of trial and error, but we got it together. As a matter of fact this process is a living testament to Kuumba. It was through following the process that this system even emerged. Realize that where you are I was... I will just leave it at that, I was struggling trying to figure out what my Ancestors were trying to tell me through their "crystalized wisdom" (write this term down because it will continue to pop up throughout the process). One proverb always stood out, I must admit that it was not my favorite but it was the one that held the secret I needed. The quote goes "The best life is achieved through engagement with systematic processes", it at first made no sense to me but after rolling around in my head it finally began to make sense. What we here at GNJMedia have used our Kuumba to do, was to lay out a systematic process just for. We want you to "Achieve the Best Life". After sitting and working with this book for almost 30 years it finally hit me, and I knew that I had to share the knowledge with the world. Once again Kuumba had to rise in me, and rather than reaching out to the world the Idea came to me to build a Tribe. The major point that I am trying to get out to you is that this whole system, the days, the weeks, the language, the ranks, the relationships, the initiation etc.. all manifested through our Kuumba.

Kuumba is a child that needs to be protected by the other principles. Kuumba is very trusting and will create things that will destroy even itself. This is why I believe that Kuumba is placed between Nia and Imani. The only way to activate Kuumba is through one of its siblings. Since we came from Nia's direction we will talk from that standpoint. Being that we are in the week of Kujichagulia, I want to stress that Kuji is a key that opens all of the principles up. When you begin defining things you open them up so that you can explore or create. When we define our Nia, that empowers us to turn on our Kuumba. It is through our Kuumba that we will be able to fufill our purpose on this planet. You were sent here to do something, and when your Nia is turned on Kuumba comes with it to open up a new world for you. This process is what has happened to myself and my tribe over and over again. When we operate through our Nia we open ourselves up and the Universe speaks through us in the language of Kuumba. For some of you this may be a shock, that when you do what you do (talent, skill, or gift) it is a conversation with the Creator.... I hope you caught that. If not, read again and get the message.
