Tribal Quotes 19: Being Black, Boldly Brilliant and Beautiful
On this show Brother Kwame is interviews his niece Alexia Smith and I want to share some of the take aways from the interview that I picked up. In his usual fashion "The Black Yoda" connects this interview with one of the proverbs left to us by our Ancestors. The key lesson that I got was the idea about sacrifice in the pursuit of a goal. Our Ancestors state those who are not willing to sacrifice will not be fulfilled, and this young lady has demonstrated the willings to sacrifice. This can be seen in her pursuit of excellencce in the classroom, on the basketball court, and more importantly life.
The interview with Alexia Smith was inspiring and eye-opening. It is clear that she has a strong work ethic and determination to succeed. She is a great role model for young people, especially Black girls who may feel like they are not good enough or that they have to sacrifice their dreams in order to achieve success.
Listen to the interview and be inspired and most importantly share it with a young person in your life to help inspire them:

Let's Take It To The Next Level - 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge
Peace FAM: It is time that I move to another level. I have spoke enough about sacrifice, suffering, embracing the bitter. Now it is time for us to see these things totally in action. I have decided to commit to completing another 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge with a fast. It is about to get hard. This time I will not be doing the intermittent fasting I will be doing a straight liquid fast. The goal is to demonstrate that it can be done, to help me workout some of my personal fears, and to solidify my vision for GNJ. I am not playing with this platform I have been blessed with, and I am not playing with this product that the Ancestors have dropped in my lap. I decided to call it the Gye-Nyame Quest. Now what I will have to workout is a system that will help me make it through the rough times. I will follow everything that we do within the challenge, plus the fast. My system will look like this: Week 1 Breathing Exercise Toast Movement Cold shower/ bath proverb & folktale of

I will also doing some personal shows on the series of cartoons and movies that I will be posting. The Idea is to hold discussion about these old videos, their effects, and how they may be playing a factor in our Areas today.
GNJ # System
GNJ # System Introduction In the ancient world, we used numbers to count and calculate. Numbers were also used in rituals and religious ceremonies. Today, we still use numbers for these purposes, but they have become more important than ever before! Numbers provide a way to better understand ourselves as individuals. Numbers also provide a way to better understand the world around us and how we interact with it. Finally, numbers can help us learn more about how to behave so that we can achieve our goals, whether they are spiritual or material in nature. The GNJ system is a new approach that will allow you to gain insight into yourself by using numerology and astrology together! The first step is learning your Life Path Number (sometimes called your "birthday number"). This will tell you what kind of person you are at heart based on when you were born - which could be either good news or bad news depending on when that happens." Numbers provide a way to better understan
