An Offer You Can't Refuse Great Umoja: We have entered a new cycle once and those that want to start a new challenge can jump on board, those that want to solidify a goal can join, those that struggled on your last challenge can try again. We welcome everyone to join us on this next 7 week journey. I don’t know what you are reaching for but whatever it is we can help you here at the Journey. This 7 weeks i am going to continue writing but i am not going to be pressing myself and stressing out. I will continue to create the exclusives for the supporters, and continue to work toward getting our first 100 supporters. Checkout the Blog and let us know if there's anything that you want us to cover, or if there is something that you would like to add.  I took some veg time and sat back and enjoyed a show suggested to me by one of my brothers. He knew that I was a fan of the Godfather and figured that I would like the Paramount + series "The Offer", and he was right. This

Questions, Kuumba, & Imani

Image
Questions, Kuumba, & Imani Great Imani: Kuumba week is at an end and now we must look into the foundation of the Nguzo Saba. We have hit Imani and it is a good place to end all of our discussion. The only issue is that the way that we use the Nguzo Saba in our Self Mastery process, Imani is the first step. In Fact it is Imani that fires up the principle of Kuumba. This is because imani is the fuel cell of the entire system. How do we today discuss Imani through the eyes of Kuumba, our being creative with our faith? “Kuumba Thrives in a home that has Imani.” Being creative requires us to do something that many people today refuse to do, be humble and ask questions. We not only have to master our Kuumba so that we don't have random creation wandering around our life causing destruction, but we have to maintain the stance of a forever student. Good students ask questions, and refuse to act like they know everything. That behavior is built into the brainwashing doctrine received

Creative Economics Great Nia: Let's start this conversation by using some of our crystalized wisdom that has made it to us from our Ancestors, we will be using the idea of Sankofa. Sankofa for those who are new to this journey is the Akan symbol with a long necked bird stretching its head back to grab an egg off of its back. This is defined as going back and fetching it. It for us is cultural wisdom, and I want to reach back and remind you that wealth for us traditionally was in the people, and believe it or not it still is! Nothing of value is found, created, shaped, molded or whatever can be done to it without the touch of a human being, or groups of human beings.   “Wealth exists in the people and we need to reclaim that value,  to help us build pathways for real wealth.” The smart phone you are reading this article was made and created through a process hundreds of individuals through their combined effort was able to put together. The components that were put together for th

The Nucleus Of Imani

Image
The Nucleus Of Imani Today we will be talking about the nucleus of Imani. Imani is the base of the system that we talk about in Gye-Nyame Journey. Any principle that is used without Imani will be rendered useless. We have to build up the Imani in the system by practicing it on a regular basis. This means that we have to structure the practice so that Imani flows out of us automatically. Once again we have to begin setting up ways that we can activate this principle even when we are seeking and find our why. “We know that unless the practice is working for you, it's useless. That's why we're taking time today to build Imani into your life.” When we find our Nia it is like being in a dark room blind folded and we have to figure out how to get out to share what we have with the world. In this situation the only thing that can get us out is the Trust (Imani) that we have in our senses. The reason it is setup like this is to test if we are worthy of what we seek. We have to be

5 Reasons To Set Up Rituals In Your Life

Image
To start with, rituals are an important part of any and all success. Now you might be thinking, "Oh wow this guy is going to get all religious on us" Not quite. Rituals are a way that we focus our energies towards a desired outcome and they are definitely not just for religious folks. The thing about rituals is that anyone can do them, and you don't have to have any religious beliefs to use them-actually it's better if you don't have religious beliefs when it comes to doing rituals. If you are starting out on the path of personal development my book ``The Player's Pyramid" would be a great place for you to start and then after reading my book it would be good to start reading other books on personal development. Once you understand how rituals work in your life they can be an incredibly powerful tool to help you achieve whatever you desire. Some of the things that might be keeping you from setting up some rituals in your life right now might be: 1.) You
