“Elder we hear many stories in Gye-Nyame, but very few about Gye himself.” I stated as we sat in the shop drinking coffee and smoking hookah. This elder was hard to catch up with, and even if you caught up with him you were not guaranteed to be blessed with a conversation.   Still Dreaming I woke up excited my spirit still ignited aligned my passion with purpose now my dreams are invited. Political agenda My disdain for politics maintains the rhetoric from liars and heretics all breeding new lunatics. Same melody new lyrics new action but same spirit the only reason I fear it is knowing the truth when I hear it. I may pic the poison but brew my own elixir. The lessor of two evils is making myself the fixer. Finding them as the problem and us as the solution. The union of church and state is governmental pollution. I found myself as my savior and found my family as church I find my friends congregating around a basket of perch. I raise my kids from my morals and raise my glass to my bliss. Belief is a powerful thing. It is so powerful that it can short circut the mind. Belief overrides our logic, reason and everything else dealing with the mind. Belief can turn the most intelligent and educted into babbling fools. If you don't believe me just bring up a discussion that hits people in their heart and watch the arguments you get, and if you are able to escape with your life. You will understand what I mean. I'm not writing this to get you to look at other's beliefs, but to challenge you to look at your own beliefs. Take a good look at your beliefs and see if they fit into reality. Most importantly look at your beliefs about yourself and your abilities. Are you living your life the way you should and want to live your life or are you living your life in accordance with some of your false beliefs about yourself. Ask yourself key questions and challenge what you believe about yourself, the world you live in, about your God, and etc.. When you ask yourself som

A new tool I am working with is what I call a thinking board. It is basically a board that is placed on my wall in my bedroom where I can write down and mind map new ideas. This tool can come in handy for all those on the Journey if you already don't use something similar (journal). This gives me a place where i can sketch out quick pictures, short statements or mind maps as they hit me. I use a board and erasable markers to help me bring my ideas and inspiration alive. These colors and the space gives me the ability to lay out and develop my ideas rather than just hold them in my mind. What i have noticed how once i started the ideas have began to take on a life of their own. Because they are visible before i go to sleep and wake up i can revisit them often and freely add without worrying about any outside criticism. This board also serves as a place where I can put up goals that i personally want to program into my mental hard drive. i use the board to help me focus my mind on w

"A journey of a thousand miles begin with one step", is a quote I often refer to when I feel like I am stuck. I often like to look at these words of wisdom, but sometimes I forget the power of these words. Not only does a journey of a thousand miles begin with 1 step, but so does a a short trip to the corner store. All of life's action begin with a small step. When we think about it any major change that we make in life starts with small steps or better yet by creating small habits that enable us to use the power of leverage and momentum to move us to where we want to be. My recent studies have led me to looking at quantum physics, and from looking at this amazing science, I can clearly see the power of the small. We often overlook the power of the small, bu many of us have experienced this power in our personal life, both negatively and positively. Sometimes I get discouraged... I have heard this over and over again in my studies, and being on this Journey, I have  felt it. This feeling can strike at the strangest time, but I like those before me I need to push on. I am in the beginning stages of writing another book. The Idea came to me complete with a title and the first thing that hit me was the feeling that accompanies discouragement and self doubt. The negative question began to hit me from the inside as well as the outside. The book will be about the Journey to success, although I have dealt with this topic in my other books, this book will deal with it more directly and be more universal in scope. The first negative thought hit me and tormented me for the first day, after I put the title on my thinking board (will speak on the "Thinking Board" in an upcoming blog). It brings up points that may upset you, but it is worth a read or listen. Within his writing the author reveals some unknown facts and goes beyond Malcolm X's autobiography. It also paints a picture of some of the possible internal struggles (personal conflicts) that anyone that is involved in struggle may go through. During a recent class I had the pleasure of giving, I challenged the participants to build a "Family Pyramid". A family pyramid is simple a family tree flipped upside down. The idea of this exercise to help the participant to recognize their greatness as well as to help them develop a sense of destiny. Most of the participants completed the assignment. I moved into a discussion about each individual being on earth  for a purpose and the way I used to prove this to them was showing them how many people had to come together in their personal pyramid in order for them to exist. I explained that each individual within their personal pyramid had to come together exactly at the right time in order for them to exist. I further asked them to imagine that everybody within their personal pyramid was brought together by destiny just to produce them. Saw a bird soaring/ Against the force of the wind/ Without stress or strain/ Ha2ku by ha2tim Simple just enjoy life. While watching this bird i was amazed that there was no stress or strain. the Bird just soared through the winds as easily as i had walked out to the park. Even with the wind blowing against him. I can't explain how the bird was doing this, as a matter of fact I dont want to ruin the experience by even trying. I just want to follow it's example and soar through life regardless of which way the wind is blowing. i hope the Ha2ku help you on your Journey. Nuff said Peace and 1hunidyears

Imagination is the tool that we use to develop our life or the weapon of our destruction. When we use our imagination to make away, things begin to happen in our life. When we focus our imagination on things, we recieve nothing. We become stuck where we are with visions of possessing the things, but we come up with no means to get it. Focus your imagination on creating the way to wealth rather than focusing on the things of wealth. When we focus on the the things of wealth rather than the means of attaining them we become stuck. We are burning up our axe' (life energy) fantasizing about the rewards of hard work. We have the ability to create within focus our axe' on that and move ourselves along the path we imagined.

The warrior spirit is important for anyone who wants change their life. A warrior is "one who is experienced or involved with conflict" and anyone that is looking to change is going to experience conflict. The conflicts that will come will start internally and then work themselves out into the world. Conflict is unavoidable when one is seeking any sort of change. Conflict is necessary in our lives because it is only through conflict we grow. Reflect on your own life and look at all the conflicts you had to endure to become who you are today. I humbily suggest that we are a products of conflict, individually and collectively. When we look at the definitiopn of a warrior we can see that it is bigger than a physical war. When we limit the warrior spirit to the battlefeilds of humanity, we limit are ability to tap into the force. We limit our access to the part of ourselves that has helped man/woman evolve beyond our fear, and self imposed  limits. It was the warrior spirit
