Conservatism, Reaction, and the Elder's Responsibility: A Message to My Age Grade

Conservatism, Reaction, and the Elder's Responsibility: A Message to My Age Grade Great Day, Fam. This one right here? It’s not for everyone. If you’re not at or approaching Eldership—defined in our tribe as about 55 years old and up—you might not feel all of this. But if you’re curious, or if you’re one of those younger souls already walking with wisdom, you’re welcome to keep reading. This message is for the Elders. For those of us who should know better. And yes—I’m including myself. Let’s Start With the Mirror I’ve got to confess something. I’ve been guilty. Guilty of being reactionary. Guilty of falling into the trap of conservatism. Guilty of romanticizing the past. Guilty of looking at our young people and calling them “soft”—as if we were born warriors, as if we didn’t have to become who we are through fire, failure, and guidance. Many of us Elders are stuck in a loop. We remember only the highlights of our youth—the toughest times we survived, the boldest moments ...

No Halfway Dreams

 No Halfway Dreams

Introduction

The mind is the key to success. You can be the strongest person in the world, but if you don't believe in yourself, your dreams will stay just that—dreams. I've been through many battles with my mind and body, but now I'm coming out on top because I know when to give up and when not too. In this article, we'll go over tips for staying motivated and achieving your goals through hard work and faith!

The Mind is the Key

The mind is the key to success.

The mind is what keeps you going, day in and day out.

The mind is what keeps your motivation alive when things are tough.

And the mind is what will get you through those tough times, no matter how tired or depressed you may be feeling!

Putting in the work

What separates the great from the good? The difference between a half-way dream and a fully realized ambition is putting in the work. When it comes to changing your life, there’s no substitute for hard work.

That doesn’t mean that you have to work harder than everyone else; sometimes, it just means putting in enough hours to get the job done. What matters most is that you invest yourself completely — both physically and mentally — in whatever dream you’re pursuing. You need discipline, patience and consistent effort if you want to make something great happen in your life.

It takes courage and determination to build an amazing life from scratch: courage because we all face challenges along this journey; determination because sometimes our goals are small or even seemingly impossible (but always worth pursuing). If we want our dreams to come true, then we must put our all into achieving them!

This is the only way to get ahead in life. It's not about being perfect, it's about progress. Progress not perfection!

You can always improve your craft, you can always improve your life, you can always improve your relationships and you can even help other people through their struggles and get them on the right path. This is something that I have been doing since I started and it has helped me so much with my own growth as a person and an artist. If there is one thing I want you to take away from this article it’s this: Progress Not Perfection!

Don't be afraid to go all in for your dreams

If you want to do something, do it. Don’t be afraid of the unknown and don’t let anyone tell you that your dream is too big or too small. If there is one thing I have learned during these past few months, it is that we need more people who are willing to go all in on their dreams—especially young people like yourself!

You might fail. You might succeed beyond your wildest imagination! There will always be naysayers who try their best to hold you back from reaching your full potential or doing what makes them happy but remember:

  • You are stronger than any critic who has ever lived

  • You are smarter than any naysayer could ever hope to be

  • The only way we can change anything is by being brave enough to try something new

Going hard for your dreams is the only way to get them. There is no halfway.

The only way to get your dreams is to go all in. There is no halfway, there is no part time, there is no taking a break from it when you don't feel like it. If you want it bad enough then you will do what it takes to get it. Don't be afraid to fail or be afraid of success because they both teach us lessons that we need in order to grow and become better at what we do or want to do.

Don't be afraid of being the best either because if you are going after something then why would you settle for anything less than greatness? You can only improve by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone so why not make every day one step closer towards that dream?

Conclusion

You can do this. You just have to take action and dedicate yourself to your goals. The only way you will achieve them is by putting in the hard work, being patient, and not giving up when things get tough. Don't let problems stop you from pursuing your dreams; instead use them as an opportunity to learn something new about yourself! If there's one lesson we hope you take away from this article, it's that no matter how big or small they may seem at first glance—it's worth going all-in on whatever inspires us most because no halfway dreams exist (and neither should yours).
