More Than Just "Believing" https://www.spreaker.com/episode/the-red-root-of-resilience--70188397 Most people think faith is just a feeling you have when things are going well. But what happens when the road gets rocky? In today’s episode, we break down why the principle of Imani is actually a technology for survival and success. We aren't talking about "blind" faith; we're talking about the kind of bone-deep certainty that changed the course of history for our people. If you've been feeling stuck in a cycle of doubt or "what-ifs," there is a specific shift in perspective that changes everything. We discuss the "Red vibration" and how it acts as the foundation for every other principle in the Nguzo Saba. You won't want to miss the breakdown of how to practically apply this to your business, your family, and your peace of mind. Peace FAM:
Great Umoja, and I wish you Peace, Power, Joy, and of course 1hunidyears. We start this week with some powerful momentum being provided by you, the readers. Many of you have taken the time to click and sign up for our mailing list and have also taken the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge. I am looking forward to your comments, and critique of the process so that we can make it better. The only way this tribe is going to grow and move into prosperity is with your input, and many of you are providing just that, and once a gain I thank you. it has been a long and arduous journey for me as a blogger, podcaster, and vlogger. I have sat on the side lines learning to use these platforms, and finally I am getting the hang of it. Keep on doing what you are doing , and let's build a culture that will out live us, and provide a viable future for our children here now, and yet to come. Family I lift my glass to you on this Daily Toast. I pray that our ancestors move in your life and help you overcome all the obstacles that may present themselves to you. I lift my glass in the hopes that our enemies will become just another stepping stone that will lift us in a glorious fashion toward our ultimate goals.
Culture is a major focus for me, at this time because I realized that without it, we produce artificial broken individuals that do us more harm than good. Culture gives us the option of forming our young, and selves into what we need to move forward in this world. Culture enables us to look into the chaos of this world and shape reality into what we need it to be. Many of you will read this and doubt my words, but the fact is that culture is the story that a people tells itself to help them make sense out of the world, and by us being bold enough to snatch our destiny and to begin to work on building a new culture for ourselves speaks volumes, and it calls the Creator and Ancestors to our aid.
Enough of my rant, and now to what I spoke on today. Whole grains are touchy subject, and for years I have heard that we should not consume them. We were told that since bread was made from wheat and other food stuff we needed to steer away from it, but that is a partial truth. The fact is that whole grains have been the building block of cultures all over the globe, including Africa. Many of these whole grains were seen as sacred crops, and the survival of the people were connected to them. The problem comes from man meddling with the process, and dividing these crops into components that separately are poisonous to the body, but if consumed in their original state and intact we have a vital product that can help us in our journey to health. In this video I look at whole grains and compare how grains being processed is very similar to how many of us have been processed, and this man made process not only ruins the grain and makes it deadly to consume, but the process we under go does the same to people. The process takes the grain and the human being out of the natural state causing it to act against it's nature, and moves it to working against itself. We have the opportunity unlike the grain to reverse the process that has been put on us, and move back toward wholeness and health, and in the process rescue the grains of our ancestors, and use it to build a new Culture for ourselves, which will lead to us creating a greater society, and Nation. Checkout the video, and feel free to Like, Subscribe and Share. For those that may be looking for some healthy grains, and also want to support GNJ here are a few links to some whole grain products in our Amazon store:
We pour libations/ to connect with all that is/ and to cleanse our hearts/ I need to start this article by stating this information is based on my personal experience. I have been pouring libations for at least 20 years all over the country and personally. Libations for me is a process of remembering, and connecting or re-connecting to not only the Spirit but everything around us . When we pour libations we are opening ourselves as well as the group to the axe ' of the entire Universe . I first must admit that I do not belong to a group, sect or religious order. I am a lay man who have made a personal connection with the world, and the spirit. By pouring Libations we strengthen these relationship. So let me define a few things first so that we can be on the same page. Libations - the process of pouring or giving a sacrifice to form a connection with this world and the spiritual realm. Spirituality - the state of establishing and maintaining relationships Axe...
The Art of Adaptation: Unveiling the Wisdom of The Bat and The Weasels “It is wise to turn circumstances to good account.” — Aesop In the world of fables, we often find animals acting out the deepest parts of our humanity. These creatures, symbols of instinct and survival, carry lessons older than time itself. The Bat and The Weasels , retold from the mind of Aesop and reimagined through the lens of Gye-Nyame Journey, isn’t just a tale for children—it’s a guide for those grown folks who still seek mastery. When the World Has You Cornered Here’s the setup: A bat falls to the ground and is caught by a weasel. The weasel hates birds. So the bat, slick with the tongue, says, “I’m not a bird—I’m a mouse.” The weasel lets him go. Later, the same bat falls again. This time, a different weasel catches him. But this weasel hates mice. So what does the bat say? “I’m not a mouse—I’m a bird.” And he gets set free again. Now, you could say the bat was being dishonest. But hold on. Let’s go de...
The Three R’s of Relationships: Building Bonds on Respect, Responsibility, and Reciprocity In every relationship—whether personal, professional, or communal—there are foundational pillars that support and strengthen our connections. I call these the three R’s: respect , responsibility , and reciprocity . They’re the legs of the stool upon which strong, enduring relationships rest. Respect: Seeing Beyond the Surface True respect goes far beyond superficial acknowledgments. It’s about looking deeper—truly seeing the person beyond what’s on the surface. This means engaging with others on a level that honors their stories, experiences, and inherent worth. Respect isn’t just a courtesy; it’s a commitment to understanding the person in front of you, appreciating their struggles and triumphs, and valuing their unique perspective. Responsibility: Owning Your Part in the Relationship Responsibility in a relationship isn’t just about meeting obligations—it’s about owning your role in nurturing a...
