Daily Toast- Ujima 517171 "The Paradox of the collective"

Great Ujima FAM:
I hope yesterday was productive for you, right now I am sitting in Ujamaa reflecting back. Their are many things that i wished that I would have covered but I think the basic idea rings through. Family we have to begin to rebuild and embrace our culture.
I state rebuild because we can't just grab some ancient information put it together and strap faith on it and feel we will be able to compete. A culture prepares an individual to compete and succeed. Right now I believe that we are following a cultural program that leads us to failure. This cultural paradigm that we follow miss informs us about the past, muddy up the present, and leaves us hoping for a great future. All of these elements are within our power to change, as well as rebuilding our culture.

Daily Toast- Imani 515171 "Hold your Breath"

Peace FAM:
I have been pushing heavy on the breathing and will continue to do so family. The breathing exercises that I am sharing and talking about will change your life. On this powerful day of Imani I discussed the retention of the breath. Family, breathing right not only contributes to your physical health it helps you with the other 4 parts of your being. I am stressing this in the blog, 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge, and especially those in GNJ's Warrior training (coming soon). Breath is the key that helps unlock the trauma, correct the body, clear the mind, and provide us with the energy needed to build the culture that a nation can spring from. I am saying that how we breath set us into a rythm that will either put us in time with oppression, or  freedom. Most of us are breathing in the rythm of slavery, and oppression.
Now let's look at the retention of the breath. When you consciously hold your breath you are making an effort to take control of your your being. Breathing is an automatic unconscious process, and by you attempting to take control of this process you are making a move toward SelfMastery. When we attempt to hold our breath we run up against an unconscious force that seem impossible to overcome, but with practice we can begin to increase the amount of time we can hold our breath. The fact that we will come to learn is that the exhale is more about ridding the body of carbon dioxide rather than taking in more oxygen. The secret is that there is still oxygen in your system and you have to train your body to access this hidden treasure. The question that I have for you is, if you can control your breath what else can you control. Your breath is the number 1 unconscious process that you are involved with. If you can control your breath, then you can take control of other unconscious process that may be reeking havoc in your life. Although I am in Imani now I want to make sure that my readers have access to the information that I shared on Kuumba. We talked about nitric oxide and sex. Family the power of the breath is incredible, and we need to begin harnessing it for our personal and tribal "come up". When we learn to work with and eventually control our breath we can heal ourselves, lose weight, overcome stress, increase energy, and improve our sexual performance, and all this is free. It is just a matter of sitting down and breathing through our nose. Forcing ourselves to become conscious of a process that many of us overlook. Changing our diet, and other habits pale in comparison to just changing our breathing pattern. Start breathing through your nose, take the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Challenge and change your life.

I greet you in the name of Ujima, even though it is no longer Ujima. I feel that this video is a must see. In it I demonstrate the Complete Breath, and talk about the effects it can have on the "5" (IMESP). Family if you don't do anything but learn some of the breathing exercises that I will be sharing with you over the next few days, you will be able to take control of your health. Most people over look the power of the breath, but here at GNJ we don't. As a matter of fact we start with it. Today we hit the basics of nose breathing, and I demonstrate the complete and the cleansing breath. If you add nothing but these two breaths to your SelfMastery tool box you will be head and shoulders above most. The fact is that most people breath wrong which contributes to a lot of the ailments that are prevalent today. Diet is important, and water is more important, but breath is King. You can eat right, drink the purest of water, but if you are not breathing right you will throw your whole system out of line. I am surprised that no one is really focusing on the "Science Of Breath", but that's cool GNJ will fill the gap. Checkout the video, and get to work on breathing right. You are burning up your lungs, killing brain cells, dulling your mind, murdering your intuition, making your emotions more unstable, damaging your spirit, and destroying your physical breathing with your Mouth Open. I am running into some powerful information about the power of the breath. I have been dealing with the concept of axe' in the breath for a long time, but now I have found scientific proof of the power of the breath, and even more importantly how the breath is taken in the body.
My friends and family it has finally been proven that breathing through the nose is the best way to breath, but it has also been shown to help an individual over come or better control obesity, impotence in life as well as erectiel dysfunction, diabetes, insomnia, anxiety, depression,      cardiovascular issues, GI disorders, and etc.. Proper Nostril breathing  helps strengthen  the immune system. This is a simple process that each of us can do to take control of our health. Proper breathing is powerful enough to move you toward health. There is absolutely no reason  why anyone can not take advantage of this. It is free, it is relaxing, and it can get you high, what more do you need.

Daily Toast- Ujamaa 427171 "You Are not breathing right"

Peace FAM:
Food is important, water is more important, but air is the true staple of life. If your air supply stops and you are dead in a few minutes. This is a fact that none can deny. This is why I wanted to do a video talking about breathing and the proper way to breath. We need to pay more attention to the breath, just mastering this one exercise and consciously breathing we can increase our health, strength, and power of our immune system. Many of us our suffering from the effects of improper breathing, and dehydration. If we water our bodies, and breath properly we can eliminate the need for many of the supplements and drugs that we are taking. Our bodies are malfunctioning because we have not been handling the basics. Breathing correctly is the key, if we perfect this skill our life would jump by leaps and bonds. When we bring air into our body it enables us to transform the food we eat into the energy that we need to make it through the day. We must become conscious of our breathing and at certain times take control of it, and increase or decrease intake at will. When we breath properly we exercise our internal organs, and help the axe' flow throughout our being take some time each day and focus on your breath, and periodically throughout the day, take control of your breathing. Also FAM takes some time and get around some trees, so that you can take in some high quality air. In the city, and in our homes the air is becoming more polluted, and the oxygen levels begin to decrease. In wooded areas the oxygen level is higher and it allows us to energize our bodies quicker.
