Let's Talk About What Hunger & Thirst Taught Me (2017)   Great Imani: Family we are at the end of our Kujichagulia week, and I am thrilled to be able to end this fast in success. I have taken all the lessons from the past and been able to make it through this fast without almost dieing. As you may have noticed I am now sharing videos from GNJMedia's past broadcast, and this is to give myself more time to do some of the other work required of me as a Nation Builder, moving toward the elder phase of my life. Pay attention to all the videos that will be coming to you in the future, becuase i am not only going to be sharing great information with you, but I want you to see how consistent we have been over the years. I just want to remind you that GNJMedia is not new to this, we are true to this, so get the lesson. "Become Digitally free with everything that is provided by the Nation and with your own efforts." I am also still working on the eMag from Umoja of this cyc

The Axe' Breath - 7 secret powers released by deep breathing exercises

The Axe' Breath - 7 secret powers released by deep breathing exercises Great Kuumba: I have been sitting on this exercise for a very long time, I have it avaliable on my Gumroad page but I felt that I needed to present it to the FAM one more time before we move to the next level. Now the goal of GNJMedia has always been to bring value, and this exercise delivers in spades. If you don't watch another video of mine this is the one to check out. "This one little exercise, and the results it creates are....." For years I have been experimenting with mediatation, breathing and movement in an attempt to deliver something to the tribe that could help eliminate stress, and help ease sickness. This exercise is the closest that came outside of "That Ambrosia". The breathing exercise alone is enough but I took time to add movement in this video for you. "Learn some of the latest meditation techniques that I have been practicing to help me through my days and elimi

5 Reasons You Should Eat The African Yam Great Ujamaa: Welcome to all the tribe on this 4th cycle of 2022 in the week of Kujichagulia and the day of Ujamaa. We are changing up the format for a little while here on the journey. Continue tuning in and I promise you will begin learning some incredible stuff. I am going back into the crates and pulling out some of my older shows to share with the FAM. As you will see we will be hitting on many of the foundational ideas of Gye-Nyame Journey. So sit back and enjoy the ride, and get the lessons. While I work on the new ecourse in the background. If you want to get an idea of what I am working on just click #NguzoSabaChallenge . Now here is the quick article and don’t be afraid to try the yam you might be surprised! In fact it is so appropriate that we talk about the African Yam on Nia, because it is a staple of African people all over the continent, and it is something that we should be trying to emulate over here. It has to be something si

Life Care - Harnessing Your Life Force Using The Nguzo Saba

Image
Life Care - Harnessing Your Life Force Using The Nguzo Saba Learning to harness our life force so that we can live life to the fullest. We need to explore Culturally appropriate means of doing this. We developed the 21 Day Nguzo Saba Callange just for this reason. Let's discuss plugging into who we are so that we can collect our inheritance. "Are we walking in our purpose? Learn how to collect your inheritance with 21 Days of Nguzo Saba" The first step is to acknowledge that this is possible. The next step is to be willing to take the time to do it. Let's talk about plugging into who you are so that you can collect your inheritance.   Let's discuss what we can do to harness our life force so that we can live life to the fullest. "How to harness your life force by using the Nguzo Saba. " I want you to know that there are people in this world who would love nothing more than for you to believe that there is something wrong with you and that you have no c

The Power Of Your No!!!

Image
The Power Of Your No!!! Great Ujima as we are in the the cycle of the year 2022 in the week of Kujichagulia. This video that I am sharing is a blast from the past. Look in and learn the power of your no. Stop playing with this power and begin use it to change your life. Check out the article and let us know if it helps. When you're new to saying no, it will feel uncomfortable and unnatural. You'll want to explain yourself or apologize (even if you don't mean it) just because you've been conditioned to say yes your whole life. But resist the urge! Your no is powerful enough on its own—no qualifiers or explanations needed. And trust me: There's no better feeling than realizing that an old friend doesn't have the power to control your emotions or your time anymore, simply because of something as small and insignificant as a two-letter word. The Power Of Your No!!! The power of your no is a good thing. You can say no to anything that you don’t want to do. When some

The One that Never Will Abandon You "It is only the inner head that accompanies the devotee on a long journey without turning back." The inner head is that aspect of the individual that is present in what is known,, what can be done, where one is and when one is. Presence indicates a state of beingbe, an understanding that you are an integral aspect of the one and all. Presence in knowledge suggests that your current knowledge can be expanded to include a greater comprehension of this relationship to the oneness of the all. Presence in your ability to do implies greater access to your choices and options in your given condition. Lastly, presence in where and when you are hints at an awareness of your freedom through body, mind, emotion, intuition and your ethereal natures. We have a tribal quote that summarizes this idea as “The human being’s freedom is in the inner head. "Many people lose their sense of presence, but it's a gift that needs to be discovered and nur

Defining Our Time

Image
Defining Our Time Great Kujichagulia We are in the first week of the 4th cycle of the year of Kuumba 2022, and today we are on the day of Kujichagulia, during the week of Umoja. Which requires us to reflect on Kuji through the lens of Umoja. This system is great because it requires us to engage with each of our principles in 7 different ways, which helps us increase our knowledge about each one, and most importantly gives us tools for success. "This system is great because it requires us to engage with each of our principles in 7 different ways, which helps us increase our knowledge about each one, and most importantly gives us tools for success." Remember the goal of GNJMedia is to help you live the best life, and the method that we use is by helping you build a systematic process for your life. We have done a lot of the heavy lifting by breaking the year down into 7 week cycles, breaking the weeks down by each principle, and each day also has a principle. This makes it easy

Full Time Required

Image
Full Time Required Great Kujichagulia: Once again I greet you on this Kujichagulia within the 4th cycle of the year of 2022 in the week of Kujichagulia. Man o Man have I been getting insights on the other side of my fast. For those that don't know, the 21 day challenge is structured like a pyramid, and the beginning is a hard and steep climb, but once we hit the peak and start to descend we begin to get insights. This works like this for more than just the fast. Anything that you choose to use the #21DayNguzoSabaChallenge for will do the same. Just make it past the peak and you will see. "Once again I greet you on this Kujichagulia within the 4th cycle of the year of 2022 in the week of Umoja." The thought today was being full time. Family in order for us to become free we have to start building in time for us to work on our private projects. At the beginning regardless of what you are working on it will be hard, but if we stay determined we will be able to do it. We ha

An Offer You Can't Refuse

Image
An Offer You Can't Refuse Great Umoja: We have entered a new cycle once and those that want to start a new challenge can jump on board, those that want to solidify a goal can join, those that struggled on your last challenge can try again. We welcome everyone to join us on this next 7 week journey. I don’t know what you are reaching for but whatever it is we can help you here at the Journey. This 7 weeks i am going to continue writing but i am not going to be pressing myself and stressing out. I will continue to create the exclusives for the supporters, and continue to work toward getting our first 100 supporters. Checkout the Blog and let us know if there's anything that you want us to cover, or if there is something that you would like to add.  I took some veg time and sat back and enjoyed a show suggested to me by one of my brothers. He knew that I was a fan of the Godfather and figured that I would like the Paramount + series "The Offer", and he was right. This

#NguzoSabaChallenge 7 - A Talk With An Ancestor

Image
#NguzoSabaChallenge 7 - A Talk With An Ancestor   Great Imani: This is the final day of the third cycle of this year. We are in the Imani week and on the day of Imani. I decided to spend the whole week talking about the #NguzoSabaChallenge and we have accomplished the mission. For those that might be new the #NguzoSabaChallenge is a process that you can use to change your life. By plugging into our culture by way of principles, proverbs, and folktales.  I decided to take it easy and experiment. I am now on the seventh day of my fast and feeling good right now. The major test is in front of me, for next week I will only be doing water. So I took my Kuumba day and got creative. I won't go in detail, but I ended up taking something that was supposed to help me find some clarity. I shut down my whole day for this ritual. Woke up, informed my family that I would be unavailable, and then went to my room and took the medicine and waited. I knew that it would take some time so I put on som

#NguzoSabaChallenge 6 - Description of ecourse 1

Image
Great Kuumba: We have made it through this cycle (3rd cycle of 2022) and allow me to share with you what has been born as we struggled through the last 7 weeks. This is the power of Kuumba and aligning ourselves with the 5 parts of being, and sticking to a process. For those who have not noticed I have been posting articles everyday for the last 7 weeks. Each article was highlighting where I was in the cycle, and gave me something to share with the family. All of these articles have been posted up on gyenyamejourney.com as well as accompanied by a show, and I will continue doing this so that we can continue sending out our free eMag each week. I have been sitting on an idea of creating an ecourse for those that wanted to learn more about the system we use in Gye-Nyame Journey. I had to create a system that would help me move toward success and hang on to my culture. All of the motivational speakers and systems that I ran into were pulling me toward a culture-less place. Where everyone&

#NguzoSabaChallenge 5

#NguzoSabaChallenge 5 Great Nia: I have made it to day five of my fast, and we are in the last week of the 3rd cycle in the year of Kuumba. I know that is a mouth full, but for those that are serious about making the change this is one of the keys that we are sharing with you. Being on the day of Nia, we have to surround ourselves with meaning. We have to eliminate accidents, and begin to grasp the knowledge that is around us that can help us build the “Best Life”. I just defined how the time cycle for our challenges work, and I will post up a sample of the calendar so that you can see for yourself. We are very serious here at Gye-Nyame Tribe, we are are her to help you build your and your tribes life, but we have to get you to the point of understanding the power of Nia, and learn to not only define (Kujichagulia), but put a purpose on everything around you. Especially things that you use daily. That is what we  did with conquering the days of the week, the weeks of the year, and the

#NguzoSabaChallenge 4

Image
#NguzoSabaChallenge 4 Great Ujamaa: We have embarked on a journey, and took this Imani week to talk about the #NguzoSabaChallenge, of course staying true to the game and making sure we talk about the principle of the day. Speaking of the principle of the day, we are on the principle of Ujamaa. Ujamaa to us is the green key to the whole system. It was the way that Ujamaa lined up in our system that let us know that the Ancestors were with us. Ujamaa in our system aligns with gratitude, reciprocity and the color green. I would also throw out the hermetic principle that it lines up with but that might be a little overkill. So Let’s look at the spiritual resources that are opened up when we apply ourselves to this system.  "If we apply ourselves to the principles tied to Ujamaa in a revolutionary way and use the resources that are opened up to us, we can build the kind of world that our Ancestors would have wanted for us." In the #NguzoSabaChallenge system we introduce the user
