The Scarcity Trap: Why Your White-Knuckle Hustle Is Rotting the Harvest

Image
The Scarcity Trap: Why Your White-Knuckle Hustle Is Rotting the Harvest You can throw a punch with a closed fist, and you can strangle a few dollar bills until your knuckles turn chalky white. But let’s cut through the noise: a clenched fist cannot build an institution, and it sure can’t catch a blessing. Modern culture conditioned us to believe that wealth is a brutal game of musical chairs. We’ve been fed a predatory algorithm that whispers: If your brother eats, your plate goes empty. If your sister takes the stage, you get pushed into the dark. That is artificial scarcity speaking—a psychological trap engineered to keep us exhausted, suspicious, and locked in the frantic cycle of Mad, Sad, and Scared. When you operate from that fear, you don't build wealth; you just hoard crumbs in a burning house. True Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) doesn’t begin with consumer stacking or running on the hamster wheel of lifestyle inflation to impress people you don't even like. It begins...

The Cost of the Feast: Why Comfortable Chains Are Still Chains

Image
The Cost of the Feast: Why Comfortable Chains Are Still Chains Let’s stop lying to ourselves about modern success. We love to boast about the corner office, the direct deposits, and the luxury perks, but behind closed doors, our spirits are suffocating. We have traded our sovereign genius for corporate scraps, smiling through microaggressions just to secure a seat at a table that was built to exploit us. The ancestors from Malawi cut straight through that compromise: "It is better to eat mushrooms in freedom than to eat meat in slavery." August 21st holds heavy ancestral receipts. On this exact night in 1791, Dutty Boukman and Cécile Fatiman gathered our people in the dark woods of Bois Caïman. They looked at the plantation tables heaped with meat bought with their own degradation and chose the wild mushrooms of war, sparking the Haitian Revolution. Forty years later, on August 21, 1831, Nat Turner rose in Virginia because he refused to let his soul be bought off with crumbs....

Delete the 'Mad/Sad' Program: Why Your Outrage Is Keeping You Unbroken

Image
Delete the 'Mad/Sad' Program: Why Your Outrage Is Keeping You Unbroken Let’s stop playing games: half of us are addicted to our own suffering. We wake up, open our phones, and actively look for something to make us furious or leave us feeling hopeless. We wear our outrage like a badge of honor and parade our grief around like proof of our commitment to the culture. That isn't commitment. It's an emotional trap, and it’s draining your *axé* until you have zero fuel left to build a damn thing. We have been conditioned to stay locked in reactive loops—perpetually **Mad** at broken systems or collapsed in **Sad** over historical heartbreaks and personal betrayals. This emotional clutter leaves you fragmented, exhausted, and easily manipulated. You become a puppet to every algorithm and street-corner disrespect that comes your way. Today, as we walk the path of Self-Mastery on this Friday, August 7th, 2026, we lock into Principle 5: **Nia** (Purpose), illuminated in the so...

The Subtractive Power of Nia: Stop Adding, Start Stripping

Image
The Subtractive Power of Nia: Stop Adding, Start Stripping Tribe, we have a collective addiction, and it is keeping us weak. We’ve been brainwashed by a hyper-capitalist, hustle-and-grind culture into believing that to find your purpose, you must constantly add more to your plate. More side hustles, more titles, more obligations, more noise. We split our divine energy into a thousand different directions and then look at our lives wondering why our impact feels diluted. Today is Friday, July 10, and we are stepping directly into the golden light of the Nia (Purpose) cycle. Nia isn’t a prize you win by collecting more baggage. Nia is revealed through the via negativa —the art of subtraction. You don't need to find your purpose; you need to uncover it by scraping off the heavy, calcified layers of distraction, illusions, and the toxic baggage of blame, shame, and guilt that this society handed you. Look at the blueprint left by our Ancestors on this exact day. In 1875, Mama Mary McL...

The Counterfeit of Freedom: Why Breaking Chains Means Nothing If You Cut Your Roots

Image
The Counterfeit of Freedom: Why Breaking Chains Means Nothing If You Cut Your Roots The matrix has a funny way of selling us a lie packaged as a luxury. It looks like hyper-independence. It sounds like "I got it on my own." It feels like standing completely alone on top of a hill, isolated from the very people who prayed you into existence. But let’s stop playing nice and look at the diagnostic warning our ancestors left us from Uganda: "If you cut your chains you free yourself. If you cut your roots you die." We have been conditioned to confuse isolation with liberation. We get so consumed with running away from the struggle that we run away from our culture, our history, and our collective responsibility. We are moving through a critical shift right now—vibrating under the frequency of Umoja (Unity) as we anchor ourselves into a cycle of Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) . You cannot have one without the other. Internal unity is the fuel that makes co...

The Scarcity Simulation: Why Your Crown is Slipping and How to Reclaim Your Axé

Image
The Scarcity Simulation: Why Your Crown is Slipping and How to Reclaim Your Axé Pull up a chair on the porch, family. Take a slow, deep breath, expand your chest, and let’s sit with today's medicine. Today, we are standing flat-footed on our journey, moving under the vibrant, green, and fertile frequency of Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) . Let’s stop playing small. Economics is infinitely deeper than mastering the digits in a bank app; it’s about mastering the flow of divine resources and recognizing the raw power already sitting in our rooms. Too often, the Western matrix tricks us into looking right past our own wealth. To truly step into Ujamaa, we have to view it through the lens of Ujima (Collective Work) —understanding that our collective economic sovereignty only awakens when we lock arms. In The Warrior Handbook for Life’s Journey and The Player’s Pyramid (available at ha2timgyenyame's Author Page ), we are reminded of a hard truth: your internal resources must align...

Are You Living Your Story or Someone Else’s?

Image
Defining Your Own Reality Are You Living Your Story or Someone Else’s? We all have a script. It’s handed to us by our parents, our schools, our jobs, and society at large. It tells us who we are supposed to be, how much we are allowed to earn, and what we are "allowed" to dream. But what happens when that script doesn't match the fire in your soul? In today’s episode, we confront the uncomfortable truth about Self-Determination. We aren't just talking about making choices; we are talking about the radical act of defining your own reality. We explore the "bad omens" placed on us by others and how, like the story of the princess with the crooked back, we can transform our perceived weaknesses into our greatest sources of power. If you have ever felt like a supporting character in your own life, you need to hear this. Your Next Steps: Stop wandering and start building. Get the Nguzo Saba Narrative Map to gain clarity on your direction and align your next step...

Full Time Required

Full Time Required Great Kujichagulia: Once again I greet you on this Kujichagulia within the 4th cycle of the year of 2022 in the week of Kujichagulia. Man o Man have I been getting insights on the other side of my fast. For those that don't know, the 21 day challenge is structured like a pyramid, and the beginning is a hard and steep climb, but once we hit the peak and start to descend we begin to get insights. This works like this for more than just the fast. Anything that you choose to use the #21DayNguzoSabaChallenge for will do the same. Just make it past the peak and you will see. "Once again I greet you on this Kujichagulia within the 4th cycle of the year of 2022 in the week of Umoja." The thought today was being full time. Family in order for us to become free we have to start building in time for us to work on our private projects. At the beginning regardless of what you are working on it will be hard, but if we stay determined we will be able to do it. We ha...

Kuumba Can Free Us!......Maybe

Kuumba Can Free Us!......Maybe Great Kuumba: It is the start of another day, and I want to greet you and thank you for checking out this blog and hopefully you have joined the email list or maybe even considered becoming a supporter. We have made it to our Kuumba post and eventual show. We are in the week of Ujamaa and it flew through. I can't say it was easy, but it was fast. In changing up my schedule I have thrown myself totally off, right now I am at my adventure, and have on the wrong day shirt. I guess it will take a few more weeks before I am totally in sync with my style. Every day I am trying to create content of value for you to get and use. The most surprising thing for me is that I am not a Kuumba baby, because I spend a lot of time at her altar. Each and every day is a creative event for me so believe me when I say I am no stranger to Ms. Kuumba. Now Let's get to the discussion. “Ujamaa is about more than just living in a community. It is truly about working toge...

#giveyourselfpermission - To Be Free

Image
#giveyourselfpermission to be free. Release all those things that have held you down. We are moving into a new time and place and by allowing ourselves to be stuck we risk being left behind. Free yourself from the prison of your own creation, and move past your self imposed limitations. Began to release the true you that has been kept under raps, because of your insecurity. Stop trying to fit in at the expense of your soul. Freedom is not free and never has been. The cost is you facing the consequences of your choices. Freedom requires us to look reality straight in the face, and live what we see. This can cause pain especially if you have been avoiding this for your entire life. Freedom requires new eyes that are not scared to look into the pit of our own soul and rescue those dreams that we banished there. Many of us are like people who are on a sinking ship who refuse to let go of the rail to be pulled on the rescue raft. Don't get it confused we cannot not have it both ways. ...

Gun control or People Control

Image
"Freedom has never been gained or lost in one sweeping  coup d'etat, but more in small stark steps that culminate in either the victory or defeat of  the people." Freedom is a heavy burden to bare, and it requires those who operate under it, to observe the world so that  they will not lose it. Freedom is a double edge sword that cuts both ways and sometimes will cut those wielding her if they are not paying attention. Look at what is going on America and understand that we are suffering from cuts from the sword of freedom. Just because you cut yourself with a tool (a sword like freedom is a tool that is used by people) does not mean you put it away. You either find a better tool for the job, or you improve your method of wielding it. Both of these option requires the user to do work either on the improvement of the tool, or to practice working with it (tool). We can not and should not give away our freedoms because we have been cut by them. We hav...

To thine ownself be true- Hip-Hop fable

Image
This story was inspired by a tale by Aesop called the "astronomer". Once their was a young MC, who had won many battles in his city. This MC was able to copy and style and master it. He constantly listened to the music of his favorite rhymers and could out flow them on their tracks. One day this young MC was invited to a studio of a top producer to demonstrate his skills on the mic. This was the day that this young MC had been waiting for. He listened to his favorite artist all night preparing his rhymes for his session. When the artist entered the studio, he was immediately walked to the booth by this legendary producer. The beat was dropped and the MC was challenged to drop some rhymes freestyle. The Mc felt like he was up for the challenge. The beat dropped and the MC cut into like fire and his flow seemed to him to be perfect, but the producer stopped him and said the lyrics was hot but it sounded a lot like "Lil Sam" which just happen to be one this young...

Golden MC- Hip-Hop fable

Image
Any similarities to any real life situations is purely a coincidence. This tale is simply an adaption of "the goose who laid the golden eggs." Once upon a time when the Game was pure and the Love for the art and culture was still alive, there was an rapper who was called the "Golden MC", because all his ryhmes seemed to turn to gold. His fans flocked to stores to buy everything he put out, and his shows would always sell out. When he wrote a song it seemed to touch his listeners hearts, sparked their imaginations and excited thier passions. When he put out an album it seemed that he shaped reality. He developed a cult like following to the point that everything he touched and wore people seemed to flock to copy which meant that he not only sold records, but he was able to sell clothes, glasses, alcohol, and etc.. This golden MC belonged to a crew of friends that was led by a power hungry individual, and he wanted all the money he could get now. He didn'...

The Baba - Chapter 8 part III

Image
Image via Wikipedia “Jay, sit down.” I sat down and Simba took his place and Kwesi came and took a seat as well. “I’ve called some brothers here to help you through your ordeal. Kwesi is at the Master level and a few more brothers and sisters are on their way. I want you to eat and relax for a few hours while everything is in progress. “ “Yes, Sir…..” “You have questions?” “Yes.” “Well feel free to ask.” “First of all, where are we?” “We are in Southern Ohio at one of the families fish farms .” “What is done here?” “We grow fish , man.” Simba and Kwesi broke out laughing. “For what?” “To sell of course. We have fisheries and farms all around the country, and they pull in a lot of money for the family. At this particular farm we have five well stocked ponds that produce hundreds of thousands of pounds of fish per year.” “I have never heard of majestic fish farms?.” “Have you heard of Papa Joes, the home of the Secret lover Fish Boat?” “Hell yeah! When I was in my for...
